Once the sun went down at Ultra, I almost died of hypothermia. I did the worst thing I could have ever done. I actually found a sweater in a corner on the side and it looked abandoned but I am sure someone just stashed it there and I took it. I still feel horrible about it like 6 years later but I honestly would have died of freezing. I juts hope the person thinks it went to someone that really needed it. |
Also most places in Florida crank the air conditioning so hard that you might want a hoodie or sweater... for indoors!
2nd keep your phone charged whenever possible because you never know when you'll be able to charge it next. Carry your charge cable or an extra battery if possible. It might not be a bad idea to print out and carry around important info like hotels, friends phone numbers, etc, so at least you can borrow a phone and call them, in case you end up on some marathon party mission with no power and your phone dies
I used to carry a charger and battery pack around with me but decided to purchase this instead from Mophie. I got tired of looking for spots to plug in my phone or to pop in a batter pack that was about half the size of my phone just to get a little bit of extra juice. Some good deals on eBay and Amazon for those too.

I remember one time before using this method that I got caught with a plastic flask as I was trying to enter Karu & Y for a party. Bouncer felt it during the pat-down, showed it to him and he let me hide it for future enjoyment. |
I can almost guarantee Space would not be as understanding. They love to kick people out. Anyway, that still won't stop me from carrying these around all week. Best I've used:

| 15. Space tickets (others may differ). Do not pre-purchase Space tickets for the later nights. There will be sketchbags all over the place trying to get rid of their ticket. Offer them the price they paid. Also Space is just like any other super club, don't go there every night, pick one night and stay the whole time. You will get to see those DJs back home anyways. Go to Space to experience Space not the music (unless it's Sasha and Digweed). |
