That is brilliant. I bet they even pack some actual coffee in with it to cover the smell from dogs, huh?

Posted by OrangestO on Mar-28-2013 15:00:

No, they pack actual dog shit in with it so that the sniffers are so in love with its odor that they don't give their owners the "we've got trouble here" woof-woof. Poodles seem to have a mystifying scent, according to sources.

This is exactly the sort of thing that requires the scientific method. I say, repeat the experiment on a larger scale. Use parcel tracking to find out exactly where things go wrong. Write up a report. Deliver it to, say, the FBI, Postmaster General, the New York Times, and MSNBC. Oh, and Fox News, just for grins. Get specific enough with your parcel tracking scheme that an investigation can identify the exact bigots who held it up.

Just because they think they're smart doesn't mean they are. Guess you failed the intelligence test.

Ya, agree.

Your guess is probably about yourself, mate, because your answer has nothing to do whatsoever with what I said.

YUP, NOT SURPRISED AT ALL.

Sampling and Selection Bias

The Superset of All Americans is Too Large to singlehandedly select a subset and draw general conclusions of the overall population.

On the other hand, Americans are losing their religion.

I'm satanic btw, and I like drinking animal blood.

So apparently the US postal service has been deliberately discriminating against morally superior shoes. Not suprised .

"Atheist packaging"

That's what you get for being pretentious

I think this has a lot more to do with the fact that they're clearly marked from another country, and with an agenda of sorts. If I ordered 'Republican Socks' from Iceland, they'd probably give my parcel the go-around, too. When did I start writing like this? I don't know.

Also, this.

People who let their religious affection be their main attribute, I find rather boring.

I don't care if you're Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Atheist etc. I'm more interested in what you find good in life. What hobbies and interests do you have? What's you favorite architecture style? What was your favorite subject in school? What color do you like the most? Which accent do you find the funnier, Scottish or Southern? And so on.

Philosophy, theology, etc.

I like a lot of architecture, particularly old Catholic churches and modern-ish mosques.

I liked theology and shit like that.

Are you still going to find someone boring if those are their answers?

You get a free pass, since you're only interested in the lore and such. Growing blind devotion/rejection to the religion in question, is where I draw the line.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Apr-03-2013 17:28:

What you would call blind devotion, others would call the very elementary component of faith in the first place.

And 'blind rejection'? Really?

Yes, someone with those interests and hobbies would be rather boring.

This reminds me:

I am doing some cool work with this draft of a future grand mosque to be built in _istan lately:
