I find most flags like Germany, france etc with stripes of colour to be boring and unimaginative.

Ones like Sweeden South Africa, who still only use colour, but this time, add a dimension of Shape are a step up

Countries that use the same basic Flag(UK and Aus) bore me.

then countries like Canada, Russia(oh to love that sickle and hammer), with a design and some coulour are the best.

Also flags with too many elements I find distracting and are thoughtless. Sure they tried to include many themes in their flag, but really pick one feature to stand out on the flag, and make it. Also a reason why I dont like UK, US, Aus

anyway, looking at ukrainian flag just makes me imagine myself standing in an endless field of wheat with the wind playing with wheat ears and the blue sky above my head... listening to trance OMFG!!!

as for the russian flag, i don't think it even stand for anything... just three random stripes :P
