been playing counter-strike since beta 1, which must have been in 99 or 2000. countless of hours wasted. i play cs:go a few hours per month at most. i'd much rather play battlefield 3 than this nowadays.

i dont see how you guys find this game fun. It looks extremly slow and there is absolutley no aerial aspect to the game.

I much rather enjoy playing quake (1 or live). have been playing that online since 1996;

I'm pretty shit at it though, played intense from 1996 to 1999; then just started playing again a few months back on quakelive; actually it was BTG that told me about quakelive.

Why would there be pictures taken from a plane in a fps a&d game?
Im pretty sure Quake didn't have this either.

I wish people took up Tribes again. That is the best online FPS ever (too bad all the sequels suck).

Used to play the shit out of CS, but never really past 1.0, started playing beta 2 and loved it in middle school. I missed so many fucking days of school in 7th grade due to CS haha.

Quit playing when everyone got competitive, fuck that shit, e-sports are a crock of bull (though I did make good money in HS/post-HS making clan sites haha).

Only game I really play now is Wargame (and now ALB), and thats a Cold War RTS.

Plus Arma. But that doesn't count right, because it's your "job", right?

I have been so unmotivated since moving up to Seattle to do any work (mainly cause of school).

And no, even then I don't really "play" it ever. I have probably played 2 hours of actual multiplayer in it in the last 15 months. No one I play with is up to my standards for the most part.

I've never played CS but from the videos posted it just looks like COD with worse graphics.

not the best match, but this si the match where thresh (D11) won a ferrari.. at the time he was the best quake 1 player (1997)

i remember playing this guy one time and losing -3 to 72 or something (15 minute match)

of course i was on 28.8 kbps modem, i'm sure he was on DS1.

mostly cs:go and dod:s. friend is a pro that plays for quantic gaming, they took 2nd this year at ESEA dallas, lost to NiP. it's actually kind of scary how ridiculously good sweden is at this game.

the Brazilians are taking over CS:GO. They're like the Koreans in Rogue Spear / Starcraft. nonsense.

A guy in my high school class was a real pro Q3 player, but then when COD (I think it was) came out, he jumped ship and quickly became the worlds best ranked player and got flown out to attend compos around the world.

quakelive is all mexicans lol

and yeah, rl jumping adds a huge dynamic to quake. It makes the game extremly quick.

to be honest, i haven't really played half life (counterstrike) but it looks pretty slow.. i'm really a quake 1 fan, but quakelive (quake 3) is growing on me.

i should probably try CS before i rag on it.

What I like about this game is the Innate ability for reaction rate, yo cant really teach that.

i killed the other guys left to win the round too. I was a hero today...on a casual server. Sweet.
