All these club compilations are a crock of shit. Look at Cream Anthems, the endless Gatecrasher compilations, MOS. They're all useless compilations which end up to be last years mouldy cheese. Keyword = MONEY

Guys, this commercial trance rubbish serves us a great service. It acts as a filter barrier against teenie boppers wanting to infiltrate our scene. I'd rather people think of trance as being that crap like DJ Sammy or whatever it is, than have the market for good records flooded with the crap. Besides, could you imagine if they played decent tracks on video trash shits. Everybody would wnat to here it, then all you could hear would be tiesto this and Digweed that, and is that what you want to happen to the scene.
I say good on those wankers who write this shit, cos if it keeps 12 year olds away form my record cases, then I'm happy.
Yes, i guess you've showed us the bright side cheggy But still, my stupid classmates are still going to come up to me and say "Hey man, you seen the Trance Central CD. It rocks!" i'll say no then they'll say some stupid assumption that "Oh that's right your into the Hrad Tekno huh brooooo"

After seeign the TMF(The Music Factory) channel when I was in Holland, I can't even stand Channel 'V' and MTV forget about VideoHits Fridays and Saturdays after 11PM Full on Trance! And you can watch the program called: The DJs; where u see Tiesto, Marco V, AvB or some other int DJ spinning Live in a Club along with interwievs with them..........
I wish Australia was a little more closer to Europe so we could receive some more Satellite coverage, then no one ever watch that stupid shit AU TV channels again
does that cd mean trance is starting to be commercialized??? im guessin in a year to come, more cd's will be focusing on euro dance. oh well, if they dont touch 'underground' trance, itz fine with me, just means i'll have to put up with people argueing with me that trance producers are people like: dj sammy and dj otzi hahaha

I can stand pop music these days (I've been desensitised to it from endless hours of exposure to Nova andFox FM) but I cannot fucking stand r'n'b. Even after about 95 beers it still sounds dull, sleazy and without any redeeming features whatsoever.
It's just pop music for people who think they're "all dat". 
Mate whenever I heard that stupid MF DJ Otzi guy singing that shittest song of all time , I used have nervous breakdowns (that is true)

Obviously their music industry has been exposed much longer to the trance genre than ours. It helps when you have the likes of AVB, Ferry C, and Tiesto, in the one country, let alone Europe.
What do we have, absolutely nothing! We dont even have any well known international DJ's let alone trance DJ's. The only well known artist we have that represents anthing close to dance are the likes of Madison Avenue, and DJ's Sean Quinn, Mark James, and even the latter two would only be known to maybe 25% of the 16-30 yr old age group.
And although we may cringe at this facts, these sorts of artists are the only real ones standing up to generate any sort of interest in the genre of electronic music, let alone trance.
I know for me, you dont just develop a taste for trance overnight. You have to get exposed to this type of music gradually. You start of hearing tunes such as DJ sammy on video hits, and then you buy Cd's such as trance central, and wild fm. You then also start listening to stations such as kiss fm, and eventually stumble to the likes of PVD. Hopefully, people will then discover the wonderful world of trance, and neven look back, like me.
Till this happens, we'll have to suffer with the like of Video hits in the mean time.

My favourite dance -> trance cross over comment came from my friend. He had just finished work and this group of chicks offered him 10 dollars to take them to the local nightclub. So he gets in the car and he had tiestos essential mix in there (the first half). The track playing was rapture. One of the chicks said to him.
"OMG IS THIS THE NEW MINISTRY OF SOUND CD?!"
"No, its dj tiesto"
"who the fuck is that"
Personally, i think giving the chicks the ride was worth that story alone, no 10 dollars needed.

Can i honestly that that tmf channel absolutely rocks, downloading a few mpegs all of them were tmf and were fucken top quality, worth the three week download lol on aussie dialup, channel V doesn't even compare to tmf.
