Well

Sorry to hear that, but remember .. Time is a healer.

Be thankful the girl was honest enough to tell you straight up and be brave enough to come out like that. She could have easily instead done somtehing worst...like cheat on you!! trust .. some of them dont give a shit. : , they are EVIL!

and it goes like...

Women, can't live without them ... can't shoot them.

ROFL!

but seriousl Iliya (Durafei) maybe she was just affraid of the commitment! I mean think about it some people just are. They think there are so many other people out there that I can meet! Why am I still with this person. I know it's a lame excuse for her but I think this was the reason behind it all!

Not everyone... I guess I am of the rare ones that let them come to me, just like anything else in life.

I've been chasing too many things in life, and felt real bad (and went thru a lot of bad experiences) when I didn't "catch" what I was chasing, so I just figured - why bother? Let it come to me... and it's been great ever since!

(does this make any sense to anyone out there... or have I just gone fucken nuts?!)

I was listening to Riva - Time is the Healer (Hiver & Hammer Remix).....

"Move on, look to new horizons
Seek and you will find
Let go, you've been here for too long
Just follow the signs

Time is the healer
Love is the stranger
Put the hurt behind you
Break the chains that bind you
Time is the healer
Life is the teacher
Put the hurt behind you
Break the chains that bind you

Forgive, does it really matter?
Make a brand new start
Forget, could be for the better
Just follow your heart"

Regards

Hey man,
soon it'll get better. Nothing appens with no reason or by accident.. The more u'll try to get her back, the more pain she's gonna make for you. First couple of days vodyara might be really handy..
Every man went thru this, I guess now it's ur turn...

Oh woman...
Yep it's kinda hard after a "unexpected" break. I can tell. Been with this girl for 8 years. But then one day...things fall apart.
I have to agree that life goes on. I still figure out how, but we all know that life goes on.

Time will do it's work, like it always does. Sit back, enjoy the time you are free and restless. I know, easier said then done...but you know I am right.

So true, many of the things that have been mentioned..for me, the 1.5-2 year point was also a rocky time. Maybe something bugged her but she never told you about it and just blew up at it one day and felt that she couldn't take it anymore. I've talked to many friends who've gone through a breakup after a long relationship. It just takes time to forget her more...spend time with your friends...occupy your mind...

Ummmmmmmmmm that's partly true, but I have heard time and time again that if you look for it, it won't come to you, so I'm not looking. Just if it happens it happens.

And don't worry man, things will clear up and then you'll find a girl who is worthy of you.

That is true, you are on the right track. It won't come to you when you look for it but when you least expect it.

I couldn't agree more! It makes perfect sense man, the only thing is some of us cannot just sit there and wait (I have had the hardest time with that previously, but I'm learning). I used to look like a madman (never had a g/f before) so I kept trying. It got me nowhere. Now I haven't really been looking, who knows, something may (already has possibly?) come up.

damn right!! it works out well too, specially for me, cuz when i don't try, i seem to be better at being myself and just a regular 'go-with-the-flow' kinda guy. Screw the whole 'chasing' BS...

tru say .. i mean u can't expect to marry the first person you actually hook up with , so you know forsure that there's gonna be a breakup somewhere down the road.. just have to brace yourself as best you can and hope to get over it and move on .. or aka. always prepare for the worse. and if that never happens, all the better !

Posted by grafal on Sep-26-2002 12:57:

Bah...you will get over it man. You won't be able to get ur mind off of it for the first lil while but eventually you'll go on and find someone better and find out ur old girlfriend is a washed up crack whore.
