My parent make Kimchi. I didn't enjoy it as a child but if they were to make it again I would be more willing to give it another try.

Mexican for me but I live in South Texas so it's hardly foreign where I live but I can't get enough, that's why San Antonio is one of the fattest cities.

Weirdest thing - there is only one place (that we know of) here that we can find corn tortillas, and it's at the Caribbean joint. I actually prefer flour tortillas though.

I perfer flour as well unless it's Migas or Corn Tortilla Soup.

Grain is really bad for you. I avoid flour/bread/wheat/etc. at all costs. It's not even just the carbs, it's just not natural for people to eat.

Sushi is pretty awesome. love that stuff.

Kimchi is good also. There are so many variations that i'm sure you can find one that you like if you get one you don't like. Gotta get the spice going. As someone said, Korean food in general is just awesome.

I've had Moroccan food once. I remember it being good. I can't really remember what I had though.

I like Indian food in good restuarants. It's kinda hit of miss for me. Kinda tired of the typical Tandoori and Masala dishes. try the other stuff.

would like to try vietnamese food, but have to admit i'm a little afraid lol.

I agree it is not good for you to eat but how can you say it's unnatural?

SRUSSELL: Hunter-gatherer.

If you look at the entirety of the human race, grain was only cultivated very recently. It's the same with drinking dairy as an adult.

Right, because not eating grains makes you a hunter-gatherer. It's just sooooo hard to only eat meat, vegetables, fruit, nuts, etc.

I love Americanized Chinese food too, no matter how unlike real chinese food it is.

I hope your Chinese kitchens are better then ours, but I'm afraid it could be worldwide... I'm skipping Chinese food no matter how good it tastes after hearing about what they all found in kitchens of Chinese restaurants here.

I like Italian and American Pizza (from Germany).

Really not difficult at all if you don't already eat like a slob.

You have this bizarre habit of responding to a sarcastic comment as if it were literal, and then being sarcastic towards that perceived literalism. Why do you do that?

Posted by srussell0018 on Jun-27-2013 20:15:

Because you're a dick and I don't perceive anything you say as being anything but dickish I suppose.

Posted by PivotTechno on Jun-27-2013 20:22:

East/West Indian, though neither are that foreign as I have both cultures in my blood. Roti = Trini/Barbadian for the best of west, and of course Jamaica for jerk. Sushi too, most certainly. Ethiopian's pretty bomb-diggity from time to time.

Posted by Moongoose on Jun-27-2013 20:25:

Even though we are next to italy, technically italian food is foreign food so probably that. Actually drop the probably, they gave us pica, fuck it, favourite foreign food is italian.

indian food, biryani

But you do it to everyone, SRUSSELL. Why is that?

Posted by srussell0018 on Jun-27-2013 20:31:

Why is it that you're such a crotchety asshole? I don't particularly feel the need to justify anything I say or do to you, so you can put me on ignore or I can put you on ignore and that'd probably be an easier solution because I have no interest in conversing with you about anything at all really.

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Jun-27-2013 20:35:

I'm an asshole to you because I don't like you. It's remarkably simple really.

Posted by srussell0018 on Jun-27-2013 20:39:

Okay, and I don't like you either, so how about you fuck off and leave me alone, yeah?

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Jun-27-2013 20:45:

I will do that when you stop responding to people you don't like with tepid sarcasm and shit flinging.

Posted by srussell0018 on Jun-27-2013 20:47:

Ignore it is then.

Thumbs up for merguez as well, which works amazingly well with pasta.
