mother****** palm you autistic fuck
So, I've listened to this mix pretty much every day since it was posted, and I have to say I'm having a difficult time finding issues with it. This isn't really a huge surprise though, since more than most people around here, you really "get" prog. How it should be mixed, how to work the tension/release, how to structure the tunes with each other, it always seems to fit together so well in your mixes. I'm sure I've said that to you before, though.
My only complaint is that I would have liked it to be longer, but that's kind of pointless anyway, because it would have resulted in a completely different mix. And keeping it under 80 minutes is obviously advantageous for people burning CDs to listen to while driving, etc.
Honestly though, I'd love to one day hear a 4-5 hour prog mix from you, since I tend to think longer mixes like that are a bit more of a challenge for a DJ. To keep a listener's attention for a long period of time means you really have to work your programming/tension/release, but in a slightly different way, and I'd be interested to see what you'd end up doing with it. It's cool though, I know I won't be getting that mix any time soon... if ever
This is a wicked mix though, mate. Keep 'em coming, even if it is just once a year or whatever.
Edit: I should also mention - Good job with your track-digging, I'd never heard any of those tracks before, though I do recognise a few of the artists.

I found this quite enjoyable. It started a bit twinkly and abruptly, but I love that tribal percussion. From there on out it was just solid dance music, no twinkling bells and bleeps, mcprog baselines or other nuisances. No complaints from my end.
miss my prog days! great selection.

Well this mix was recorded and rendered in the same way as all my other mixes and nobody else has commented on abnormal sound quality, so I would suggest that any issues are at your end.
This will get a listen tonight when I'm not at the office and I have.... libations.

Bahaha, literally just sat down and put this on, then saw this.
Sozzz.
Will report back.
This first track has def got that cosmic funk I love. Maybe I should do a live commentary?
Working from home is pleasant.
ohhhh shit that snake-bassline. chase me through a jungle.
21 mins = tribal vortex
I for one welcome this mode of critical response.
Me too, it's so much more organic.
Oh man you drop Silky Dirty later? pzzzzzzz
Ok, so the bassline at 37~ is what I'd love to hear at the Warehouse Project while everyones mollied the fuck out at 4am.
there it is, dat silk
Keep going... don't stop. Talk descriptive to me.
SILKY DIRTY CLIMAXES AND THE DOORS OPEN, ENERGY FLOODING OUT INTO THE COURTYARD UNDERNEATH THE SUN. THE TRANSITION INTO THE FOLLOWING CUT TAKES US DOWN, SLOWLY LOWERING US INTO A STATE OF EXCITED CALM. THE SET IS WRAPPING UP NOW, BUT NOT BEFORE ONE LAST, PULSING BASTION OF PROG SLIPS IT'S WAY OUT FROM BEHIND THE SUN, ENVELOPING US IN A BILLOWING DARK.
Good stuff man, I dug it. Excellent programming, and it held my attention which prog sets don't tend to do much these days.
Next time I play out, I will fly you across to MC over my set in this manner.
In!
