Both shows? Already? They didn't even go on sale publicly yet... I bet you see some tickets released Friday...

It's a cool concept, but sounds like a snoozefest to me. It's gonna be like 80% people thinking they're going to a dance party, but really it's just going to be standing around listening to instruments. I'd rather be at Victor Calderone Saturday night, but maybe if I find a free ticket or cheap scalp for Sunday I'd go just to check it out.

What? It's not a rave? Going to sell my tickets.

Four of us are flying in as we got tickets for Saturday up in the Terrace. LOL at $300 VIP tickets, though. So, what is there to do after, as this ends at 11pm?

my only hesitation is ...

majority of the kids that purchased these tix (hence the sat presale immediate sellout) are expecting to hear AB dj set. this will make for a really awkward time.

What makes you think this? All the promotion has made it clear it's an acoustic set. The presale even included a link to an acoustic performance.

This has happened with previous Group Therapy shows, it will most likely be the case. Of course, that sucks since people who really want to go won't be able to and there will be empty seats which could have been filled.

I was traveling through Italy when tix went on sale, but I'm not so upset about it being sold out. It just doesn't have the appeal to me of a rockin' A&B club night, sitting in pre-assigned seats in a concert venue, etc.

I'll wait it out until they come back to a nearby club, I know it won't be long.

Im actually stoked for this since I love the orchestral aspect.
Saw Oakie with orchesta.
video of armin and pvd with orchestras.
Metallica and Scoprions with orchestras, etc.
Really like the concept.
But yes, it will not be a rave. Nor should it.
But here people will still show up like its a rave.

People will still be all hipstered out and "rage face" for this which will be kinda funny but not. I really wanted to get tickets for this but forgot they went on sale at 9AM.

Gonna see if someone sells out with one closer to the stage or VIP tickets. Im really one that wants to see this and have always been a big fan of A&B.
