Care to elaborate on your trip to hell?

I regret doing some pills that had me throwing up every 30mins.

Yikes. That's why I've never done E before, knowing my luck the same thing would happen to me. I was in a similar situation with some bad weed which gave me really bad paranoia and was actually trembling.

Going to Cancun with my former best friend, whereupon I became dissillusioned, bitter, and cynical.

While it's none of my business, what happened on this trip that caused you have this reaction?

For the majority of my life I have lived with no regret. In the last year; however, the wave of regret has washed over me and (at times) I cannot control it.

The thing is, I don't regret things I've done. I regret the few things that I did not do, which had such a sweeping impact on my life. When you look at it, though, there is nothing I can do and regretting is just a waste of time. I cannot go back and change the past, I just have to look at what I have, what my options are, and chart a course that follows with the life I want.

I guess you think differently when you know people that have died from drugs. EDM and spinning gives me a natural high. Lame I know but whatever.

I've been listening to EDM since 91 (well, I guess since it was called 'Rave') before moving into Goatrance and what have you and never did E.

That's only the last year. Previous to that it was Chicago, NY and London.

Mmm, may have partied for a little too long during my 20's, but my recreational use never got too out of hand. Just in retrospect I could have acquired a few more skills during that time instead of blowing smoke rings and getting fucked. Still, those were some badass fuckin' times, and much electronic music was collected because of it.

I think my 2nd regret is that I'm too trusting of people. I develop a certain loyalty to some of my peers a little too quickly. I've been since made aware of this error, and have weeded out a lot of useless people in my life. Things have gone rather decently since then.

Good for you! I guess I have the opposite problem. I don't trust people's opinion of me. But only if they're good opinions, if they're negative opinions I most likely tend to believe them. I just think they people with positive things to say about me are lying and that puts this barrier between my 'good' friends and I. I haven't tried fixing that problem yet, but hopefully I can sooner rather than later :/

My friend's general behavior, and I guess my apparent coming of age.

Well, I hope that you take something positive from it even though it was rough.

Posted by AlphaStarred on Oct-07-2013 03:42:

I trust I did, thanks.
