First, this is silly.

Now dogs aren't all the same.

I have to Afghan Hounds... (as far as so called "studies" show, they are the stupidest breed of dog.)

Now Afghans were bred to steal.. Dumb beings aren't very good at stealing, so that doesn't make sense.

Now people rate afghans as dumb, because they test them using stupid tests.. Such as throw a stick, and see if the dog fetches it..

My dogs played fetch... Once, maybe twice they got the stick, then the next time, they just looked at me, and said (with their expression) "What the fuck? You just threw it away again, if you want it, go get it yourself."

So that little rant just proves that rating dogs/cats as stupid doesn't make sense.

Now back to the argument/discussion at hand...

I prefer dogs to cats... I don't really think cats show their feelings as well as dogs, and I like to be loved.

Cats are probably lower maintenance than dogs..

I wouldn't want my pet to roam around outside the house.. (Some people tie their dogs outside, and I think that's just cruel, what's the point of having a pet if you just leave it outside all day?) And cats generally roam around free outside, and I wouldn't be comfortable with that.. Plus I ran over a cat once... This wouldn't have happened if the cat had just stayed home...

But overall, I don't think either is better than the other.. It obviously depends on the person.

I can't understand how someone could like cats, they're sooooo lazy. They can't really do anything and just sit there and purr. Just plain stuckup.

Dogs on the other hand are loyal to their owners. They're so happy to see you and get your slippers for you when you come home after a hard days work.

My fav is a pitbull. Aggressive mofos but friendly and fun to have around. My friend has 3 pitbulls that I absolutely adore, and I'm just dying to get my own soon.

dogs and cats are both cool IMO but I prefer cats.
The problem with cats is they have A LOT less consistency than dogs generally. My cat is extremely friendly and has a very funny personality, but i have friends whose cats will gut you as soon as look at you.
