All of central florida for that matter as well. Mostly everything in Orlando if funky breaks or RnB. (Lucky Me!!!
)
There will be a new club in Orlando down by UCF, where UC7 theater used to be. It's club TR3 and it opens October 1. From the way things look, they have a positive outlook toward trance.
Do you know if they have or will have a website?

Trance in Tampa?
Just checking to see if anyone knows ANY clubs in Tampa that play trance or even house?
I've been to a ton of clubs and everything down here is either Hip Hop or Breaks. Amphitheater was OK, but not great.
Can anyone recommend any other places I may have missed?
I moved down from Boston last year and although I don't miss Boston at all, I do miss the clubs. I just can't seem to find a decent club in Tampa.
Any suggestions?
Rich
Any news on the new club (TR3)?
Orlando:
Some current info. Yeah that list is a couple years out of date (H20 ...LOL! they shut that down in the stone age) so here is the real current inside scoop on places other than Icon
Crooked Bayou
50 East Central Ave
Orlando, FL 32801-2445
Phone: +1 407 839 5852
Gotta talk up this little club because this is the real place in town for quality house, tech and progressive. The owners are really cool and fully dedicated to the music. They are also very friendly with Balance Promote and Fade ppls so you can catch Balance DJ's and occasionally some world class DJ's if you keep your ears peeled (Chris Fortier comes to mind.
AKA Lounge
(407) 839-3707
68 East Pine St
You can catch all kinds of EDM here, they seem to specialize in deep house type stuff - they import NY DJ's but I have seen all kinds of DJ's here including Sean Cusick ... breaks, progressive, even some hi-energy type stuff.
Sky 60
54 N Orange Ave
Orlando, FL 32804
Up on the roof of the Social, out in the open air. House, some breaks ... well some friends of mine had a residency up there earlier this year, but not now so I dunno what has been going on there lately. But its a really cool place to hang out and get trashed
Alpha Bar
102 N Orange Ave
Orlando, FL 32804
BANGIN party every Thursday with DJ Charlie. Last time I was there it looked like mini Miami. If you have only one place to go on Thursday nite I would check this out - Charlie is a friend of mine very cool guy
Elis Cribb / Thee Grotto
110 N Orange Ave
Orlando, FL 32804
(407) 841-2008
Two clubs connected - same owner - Grotto seems to specialize in hi-energy breaks still and some trance even ... the Cribb is more house, progressive, DnB, progressive trance, tech house ...sh*t I have seen it all there. The Cribb actually has the best sound system in town IMO. Its small, but the sound is clear and tight and you can feel the bins in your chest
22 South
22 South "whatever that street is between Icon and Crooked Boyou"
Brand new tight little club, downstairs, dark smokey upstairs that stays open afterhours late. Very underground at this point, I just stumbled in there with some friends last month.
House of Blues (Downtown Disney)
Another place for bigger parties, I've seen Max Graham, Sandra, etc etc there (forget at the moment) but the cover is cheap I think it's a Hospitality Nite they do on Sunday nites

Those are the ones that come to mind off the top of my head, there are more that play EDM but in my experience they are where most of the quality tunes are.
Central FL is finally moving away from the old breaks scene - clubs are booking it less and less - there's a lot more going on here now than a lot of people realize - so I thought I'd keep it up to date ....
i can't wait to check out as many of these clubs as possible to i can find a "home" down here.
has any1 heard of a club called house in downtown miami im supposed to be play there but i never heard of it
