... first tune that i heard with WOW is 'Subliminal Cuts - Le voie le soleil (way out west remix)'

it might be the best i've ever heard... maybe because i have those old memoiries about it, and just love it

The Gift has always been their true classic. For good reason. Five years old and not aged a day.

More recently I love Mindcircus (just about all the mixes) and Intensify (especially Part 2). In terms of remixes I like these best:

Antarctica - Return To Reality (Way Out West Mix)
Ding Fei Fei - Forgotten Moon (Way Out West Dub Mix)
Freefall - Skydive (Way Out West Remix)
Kosheen - Catch (Way Out West Remix)
Liquid Child - Diving Faces (Way Out West Mix)

Just for the record:

Way Out West - The Fall uses the exact same vocals that were used in Coldcut's classic track "Autumn Leaves".It isn't changed one bit,only edited.DL it,you'll see.WOW deserve no credit for those vocals.

It was one of my gateway tracks to trance. I heard it on Swedish Egil's Elektronik compilation about four years ago, and soon after I discovered trance. This was before the US radio stations started played cheese trance at 2am, so the genre was relatively difficult to find.

But overall choosing a best Way Out West track is difficult. Mindcircus takes them to a new high. Nick Warren rocks. (So does the other guy, but Nick Warren rocks more )

Well i really didnt listen to a lot of their old stuf but i would love some suggestions. Although a remix i loved their remix of joshua ryan pistol whip, and activity is great. Really the entire intensify album is great.

Ajare - without doubt. I too have strong memories around this track. I actually saw the video first, I believe it was played on MTV partyzone (or maybe it was a nordic music channel, don't know) quite often a couple of years ago. It kinda remained glued in my memory.

Back then I bought the whole album and were pleasantly surprised how well put together it was. Actually it seemed like every track was somehow connected, and put just at the right track number

The Intensify album i good too, but imho not as good as the first one.

I've already thrown my two cents in on there best track(s), but It's just nice to know there are so many Way Out West fans out there. They have a new mix compiltation in the works... I can't wait. WOW is more than an abbreviation, it's the perfect description for their productions.
