More importantly, it's Tiesto.

System-J lives in the UK. If I recall correctly, he's in Cape Town. I wish I could remember whereabouts in the UK that is...
I guess you can work on this though, Chew, best of luck!

AvB is like $150 IN Mexico 1800 persos is probably like half a months work for some people. It is actually a month of minimum wage in Mexico.
Professionals I think get up to about 180 per day minimum wage.. so it would work out to 10 days for a professional...

Definitely reasonable, then.

I don't think you know it, but I'm the resident hippie... and I'd rather fell a tree to stop someone from spending 1800 pesos on Armin Van Buuren. With my bare hands.

Well it seems you've had your way, I need a Mexican Credit card to order online.. I'll have to go to the venue myself to buy in person now.
You and your hippie vibes.
Hopefully no one remembers me from last year there. I doubt any staff will.

Why do you hope no one remembers you?

Well I had 13000 USD approx and my headphones and BPM event tickets and my medic bag stolen just before introducing myself and having them volunteer to look through the trash bags they had just collected for my stuff... and I still think they knew exactly who took the bag (well atleast one person).. they just didn't understand perhaps.. there was 13000 in the bag that was stolen.. and all my ID...
You know loosing dinky wallet totally not a big deal loss of the ID in itself not that big of a deal just $200 and 6 months of government hoops.. the money was a big blow though. I'm left wondering, wtf did the person end up spending it on?
It wasn't my best day. since it was like day 2 or three into BPM and atleast one bottle of rum later.
I was a little despondent and perhaps not overly calm when speaking with them.

And... you... still... want... to go?
All right, I'm not going to fell any trees, knock yourself off

If I find my way out of the Jungle I'm thinking I will go, however, I'm not sure if I'll hang out with the beach kids (half joking) or get a ticket just yet.
I'm still quite surprised no one here said they've been to an AvB show.
Tequila was like $8 a litre at the local mega so I opted to get two bottles one for the holidays and one for my collection. I'm thinking predrinking may save me money for NYE and BPM.. since AvB isn't an open bar event... Steve Aoki is in Cancun.. at city with open bar..
none the less I'm not 100% sold, this isn't all about price but, is this really going to be a good show.
The fact I'll be in the middle of nowhere after this thing.. that is my time down here for an extended period of time. That is really why I can substantiate AvB in addition to BPM. None the less it is crazy to think they are selling these things at 150+ USD.

Oh there is the intelligence of the TA troll band, resorting to calling someone a retard. Obviously Redd you and others must be resident experts on what it means to be a retard.
This is about Armin Van Burren not you and your friends.
Can we keep this on topic.

Yeah I was sort of thinking that after contacting AvB and volunteering to watch his record bag, I got this weird email about video games out of no where.
Guess I must have signed up to Sony Universe without knowing..

Everquest was enticing.
Alas I will likely be staying in the jungle up until NYE and as such will not have electric sockets to power videogames...

Is there a message in that photo or are you just posting up pictures for the entertainment value.
So I ran into http://www.kiva.org today and I am feeling sorta guilty about spending $150 on a ticket when I could help microfinance 6 projects in the developing world.

You failed to see the sticky thread until now?
As for the guilt, it's up to you really. It seems to me you must be really loaded, otherwise you wouldn't be carrying around 13 thousand dollars and simply take all this money to a party. But personally, I wouldn't spend U$ 150 on a single night - I'd rather use it on something that lasted a bit longer, like books I need (and, even then, I refuse to squander it all with just one book). If you must spend money, and you don't want to be selfish, do help others. I'm sure there are loads of people that could use that 150 dollars for a month - or for the better part of it.
For the record, I've refused to buy a car because they're overpriced in Brazil, and I've gotten along riding my bicycle. And I only spent a couple of thousand dollars in a wedding because other people were involved.

Nah, the money was with me as I didn't want to leave it unattended - actually it was taken the morning after a party at the club across the street (Josh Wink and Stacey Pullen) none the less I had returned for my shirt which was unaccounted for when I had left the night before due to a misunderstanding over my level of consciousness. I had returned for the shirt then went to the beach. Alas someone with a clear plastic bag hobbled by at 8:30 in the morning who was ever so happy to take a beer bottle I found in the Ocean while snorkleing. The beach cleaner appeared to not stop the next person to near my bag whether the same person helping himself to my bag - the tracktor guy did however indicate where I should look for anything thrown out of the bag. It happened to be Mamamita's Beach Club staff working after the party that was at Mamamita's that night. Sadly the two peices of expired ID were discarded an old driver's license and a library card. Meanwhile things like my student ID, passport and other useful ID were taken along with my new studio headphones, BPM event tickets and the money - and microsd cards - my house and car keys amongst other keys, and local key for where I was staying. It is odd that only the driver's license and library card were ditched.
None the less no I didn't bring 13k to a party.
Anyway I'm out... happyholidays I'm off to the jungle tomorrow and probably won't be checking back online in the near future. Yet another year in passing. Nice to see some of the worst scum on this site have thinned out.
