Good news!)
upd: come on!)

There is something wrong with the contest when it takes half a year to design and there are only two participants. Just make it 30 tracks and move on. Is there any wonder why no one participates.

Yeah, we should scale it down. The reason why it's taking so long is just that I'm procrastinating with it, but I'm going to do a massive 100th installation.

If you win it, you may design a 30 track contest for 101.

i'm just being realistic. i think the most points i ever scored were like three, so it's safe to say that a pared-down contest is unlikely.

Oh, but this time all the answers will be available on the forums. It will basically be a treasure hunt.

Well, the plan is that the next one would have 99 tracks; one from each previous contest. I would just have to compile it first. Apologies for it taking so long, I haven't had time for it, but I'll put it as a higher priority now.

Small update, and some homework for you!

I've gone through all 99 contests and selected a track from each.
I haven't started creating the samples yet, but knowing which tracks speeds things up considerably, so in the next two weeks it should be done.

I also updated the statistics for the contests and put it to my Google Drive, you should be able to read it from this link:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...bHc&usp=sharing

The scores and the weighed "all-time table" are not updated, but the winners list and the all-time by wins are.
Guess who's on the top of the all-time lists.

There are links to all the previous contests, so you can start going through the answer lists already.
Alright, that may be insane, but I recommend reading through some of the threads, as they are quite interesting, at least the early ones.
E.g. ID 29 with 37 contestants! By god Chrissi, how did you do it?!?

Stay tuned!

Still at all-time number five despite not attending in years? Maybe I should take part in number 100 seeing it's something special.

Yeah, I'd like to participate in #100. I doubt I'll get many. I can't even seem to id most of the music from my favourites folder or when listening to my loved tracks on last.fm these days. All I know is "it" (whatever's playing) sounds so so familiar.

old age does that... its ok I have the same problem.

Apologies once again for the delay! I thought vacation would mean more time for stuff like this, but apparently it's not easy to do computer stuff when away from a computer.

Current status: 79/99 samples done. Just the remaining 20 left, then some packaging, and it's done! Hopefully I'll get it done tomorrow...

Now you lost me. I was referring to ID contest 29 hosted by her, which is the most popular contests to date. Probably it will remain so forever also.
