got one of those, pure luck, cause weird part was:

RA was showing 36 attending before 7AM (so from people who manually added to their calendar beforehand).

After purchase, counter said 37 attending, via the auto-calendar-add option.
hit add-to-cart button right away for a second ticket, sold out.
RA then said 38 attending.
All that by 7:04/05

They had TWO 1st tier tickets on RA?
(unless everyone else who snagged one has the auto-add option deselected...)
go figure.

the place was packed for the last Wed. show, and the line outside was in keeping, a big one.
So not surprised at all, would be more surprised if this had a more typical Wed. attendance, cause his last set was just so good, you'd think all of the ones went would go back, plus the ones that wanted to but couldn't get in.

I'm excited. I usually have to wait until Ultra to see him here in Miami but now I get to see him at Ultra and now at Output.

i could be wrong here but if a RA member buys multiple tix lets say 4each, only that one member gets added to the "attending" not +4

very good point, sounds right.
is there a limit to how many tickets can be purchased?
In this specific case, since I was going to do 2x 1 ticket, not 1x 2tix, just a single ticket was affected by my purchase
Whoever made the counter go to nr. 38 would either have hoovered up a whole cart load, or there were only a handful available on e.b.

or the other 36 who added the event all bought tix as well..i got on ticketfly last week..it was only 2per transaction

possible, but from a probability point of view, I doubt it.
There were others who didn't get tix then, so what is the likelyhood that the ones who already had the calendar entry were also the exact same ones to get through?

Perhaps a few of those 36 did actually get to buy some, and no one else made it through
but yup, you're right about this NOT being just two or three, but there just couldn't have been many of them.

Just checked into his other Wednesday sets at Ouput last year.
3/6 had 373 attending, and prices went from 20-30
5/15 had 477 attending, 25-30 bucks.

both are in my calendar somehow, but I don't remember which one I did, or if both, lol...

Would be nice if they did the same thing as for 5/15, where ticket holders had entry one hour early at 9

Did people with tickets get denied entry? It would suck to have to wait hours just to find out you're never getting in. Also, what was the ticket purchase limit? I'm trying to get tickets for myself and 2 other friends.

i have never hear of output not letting tix holders in (other than after final doors, 4am).
dep. on line lenght, time you get there, you may still have to wait with tix, but you'll get in.
3 tix is normally no a problem.

just be quick on the sites for the last round on sale, cuase last time they went real fast.

check the listing on output, link there to both RA and t-fly

Thanks, dude. Much appreciated for the info.

Did the 3rd round RA tickets really sell out in 2 minutes?

I already have 1, but damn! A bit nervous about the crowd now.

Posted by skippadip on Apr-16-2014 04:23:

Tried to get tickets on RA instead of ticketfly and lost. How early should I be to get door tickets?

Posted by CarS on Apr-16-2014 06:31:

see many comments on RA about that.

If you're close, go earlier than you might think is necessary, and once you;re clued in, pre-game at Turkeys nest, or catch Lotus at BBowl.
Either way, nice warm-up

I'm waiting in line right now and I can tell that there are more people in line for this right now then there were for JP's return on 46th street back in 2006

i didn't go

Posted by CarS on Apr-17-2014 14:54:

when I walked in at about 1:25 (wait 20-30min, GA line was just a mess) it was so rammed upstairs, sardine can. ditto downstairs.

was a bit slow at that point too, so the first thought was: next CC isn't worth this.

But of course, that changed musically as you'd expect, and when it started getting a little less crowded, well you know the rest.

More of the tank-top crowd than I'd remembered.
With Lotus across the street, and their Panther Room AP, parking was full-up too, btw.

Close about 4:15, still pretty full then.

Good to hear it was worth it. I never made it. Had a feeling it was gonna be jammed. Did you catch how much they were charging at door?

Posted by CarS on Apr-17-2014 16:56:

$40, so money wise you did better than on last release.
But the few bucks you could save hardly justify the GA line wait -- around 1:15 must have easily been 60+ people

Posted by djnoonstar on Apr-17-2014 17:44:

It was definitely worth it, I got there early than I wanted around 10pm...so i got to hear most of the warm up. Crowd wise I think you guys can figure it out. Packed but I never felt uncomfortable, there is always a few spots here and there. Upstairs was a jungle tho. YOLO type neon tanks ppl. I like being around the dancefloor area.

In the time I was there Carl Cox played everything from Deep House, Classic House, Some Soulful Frankie Knuckles, Tech House, Techno. I left around 3:30.

Cars, didnt see you at all. Would occasionally look around for you to see if you made it.

lol, me too!
funny, as we're not the shortest there either.
next time!
enjoy GG.
