Anybody go to this?

Posted by CarS on Mar-23-2014 17:30:

about 7:45 to close (about 9:45, though they had posted 11 earlier I heard. no matter I could use the break, started around 9:30 sat.).

played harder than I would've thought, nice flow, good crowd (in part because that warehouse has room to spare, and they set the booth against the long wall)

still rather packed when I got there (many hundreds), halved by 9.

good way to close out the night, and he was really enjoying himself
(didn't get that Age of Love remix he's been doing, unless he did it earlier (was told there was a "trancey" part earlier, fwiw))
heard that he was at Marquee Friday night, was very pumped for last night apparently, and it came through

At least in Miami we save the $6 since we don't use coats, but the rest of the prices look about the same down here.

but I do get the point, I just cost-minimize.

my measure of rip-off is water.
the other night, I paid $10 for one bottle, and it wasn't even a pint, just 12 lousy ounces

party was fuckin amazing! vibe was through the roof, place was packed but plenty of room to move about. $14 drinks were absolute bs and i only had one. $6 water was reasonable and i expected around there. was there from 11pm-8am. capriati took us on a fuckin absolute mind bending techno journey. so worth every dime for this trip down. loved the venue but expected it to be bigger. only downfall was there were zero places to sit unless you had bottle service. oh well i guess. everyone was behaved with no problems, drama or OD's that i saw at all. what a party!!!

im glad to hear it was a good time.

but $14 drinks is a joke. was it also one of those cheap small plastic cups? thats what i hate the most. i dont mind getting a decent size cup drink when im at a bar/club and pay a little more.

bottle service at a warehouse party? this i gotta hear. i went to liebing bkwhrs and i dont remember them having tables (except for that vip section)

Posted by benjamin1forty on Mar-25-2014 23:56:

Posted by CarS on Mar-26-2014 01:56:

yeah, but don't you kind of just want to spit at the assholes that BUY this joke?
no supply if there's no demand, obviously there's demand.
and those are the assholes

yes it was the small garbage plastic cups not even remotely close to being worth $14. i agree with you. and yes once again a complete joke with bottle service at a warehouse party, yet not surprisingly at all, it was jammed!
