i don't think this one is a funny as the original. we all know that Art Department is SICK anyways!!

Yeah I agree, don't really see anything wrong with what they're doing behind the decks. They sure do love Jack Daniels though haha.

Worst rebuttal ever. Clearly a difference. And guess he's never seen a DJ use CDDJs before with the tapping.

thats not beat matching. why do i keep seeing this over and over.

he's cueing it. you dont beatmatch by cueing 100 times.

still, pretty much anyone who uses CDJs does the same thing so your point stands other than the technicality

Cueing to do what exactly tho? To beatmatch the damn song... For what other fucking reason would he be cueing the deck if he isnt planning on mixing it in? Must have been for shits and giggles and have been a funny sound.

You cue a track to feel the beat to drop it in correctly on the phrase. Not to beatmatch. Beatmatching requires both tracks to be played simultaneously so you can hear the tempo difference and correct with the platter and pitch simultaneously.

Cueing is basically feeling the drum beat and the microseconds of difference depending on where you have it cue'd. No one just hits play once on the beginning of the phrase, they toggle it several times leading up. Make sense? Vinyl, CDJs, digital - it's all the same.

John beaver should get the gold
Medal! He's doing all their moves at ruby right now as an opener but playing peak time tunes! Wow.....this middle aged man is working his way up the Pam Pam Pam charts!
