Wouldn't that be modulation rather than having FM and Granny oscillators?
Haven't used Omni, but no doubt it's a great synth for what it does but it's not the be-all-end-all. That's not a proper FM/PM implementation either from what I can see there, where are the operators/carriers? And it's a closed system, so if you're serious about getting into granular sampling or FM there are better choices.
Ahh, ok. Well it still has granular synthesis even if its not open and modular
I find its granular synthesis functionality is fairly easy to use even for beginner.
I have to add this badboy right here holy crap its huge.

Did someone tried, Adam Zsabo's JP6K? I have seen some cool videos on youtube.
It tries to emulate the old JP8000/JP8080, I will give it a try.
but so far my top 3 are
Sylenth
Zebra2
Massive (I hate the GUI and it's hard to program at least for me, but it sounds pretty amazing)
Thats nothin, Diva has the JP8000 supersaw digital oscillator.
yep, but it's more money and CPU eater! hahaha, someone tried it?
I have, nuthing special, there's an a/b comparison with the jp on youtube somewhere

it really worth the money and CPU usage?
Why don't you guys get a Microbrute? It's only about twice the cost of a good analog VST.

Why so bitter?
They do make rubbish. The microbrute is a terrible choices considering dsi stuff at the same price .
And yes, they are ****s. Anyone that charges you full price for another license because you have more than one computer when you can show your setup and not give you the benefit of th doubt deserves to be pirated.

They are kinda in the middle. Nothing exciting but solid. They sound good but it wouldn't kill them to add basic features to make that sound a good starting place. They need to stop this set lfo bullshit. Every envelope should be a mseg. Harmor is a good model every synth should start in terms of modulation.
