Posted by DjTS-NeXiLe on May-03-2001 12:51:

Hmmm. No im perty sure its the breed of the Bright Fish... only seen by sattelites. Yeh Its true !!!

Posted by Blik on May-03-2001 15:36:

and I am just thinking that those lights are islands, or am I being to silly here.....

Posted by -=WVG=- on May-03-2001 15:44:

Thumbs up wowowwowoowowoowowowow!!!

pointy, that's an awesome picture man!
...but how did u get everyone to smile at the same time? haha
ya, definitely puts things into perspective! i went to usa for xmas holidays...it's a massive place! but my favourite bit, is the way the coast of europe & mediterranean is outlined in lights!! that looks so neat

and i couldn't help but notice all the lights along the nile river maybe the light is amplified from reflecting off the water...

well, once again...great pic!

the Nile is highly populated. Rivers have been the centres of civilisation since, well, the Egyptians built along the Nile!!! lol This is the part of the pic I liked most too

Apparently the Belgium/lights thing is right. Isn't there a law saying that every street must be lit?? Heard this last Wed too!!! (on the Panel for any fellow Aussies )

Well, you sure did your homework on that...
Nile is indeed highly populated, think I learnt that in History class

Truly amazing photo

But, when did they took this photo?

It could be night in Europe but not in Japan or so ...

Posted by Pointy on May-04-2001 06:57:

nono... what happens is something like 150 satelites map the world (not all at the same time) maybe over a week or month or whatever... then the space guru's who set out to make this picture take in all the data then put it together to make one GIANT picture.

Posted by DjTS-NeXiLe on May-04-2001 11:43:

Well I think those lights are of the TA Frog's eyes glowing from in the water. Ever since the coneception of it, it has spawned many many many other little froggies that continue to settle and breed around the globe. As you can see from the sattelite picture, the frogs are swimming from country to country to attend various partys and raves. At this point in time, They were all moving from US to NL to see Armin Van Buuren. I hope this informed all of u...
