Vath update: my mate is going to Cocoon In The Park today, and he's going to text me if the afterparty (where Vath is playing) isn't too busy. You apparently need a wristband from the festival to get in to the afterparty, but if the club isn't full I'll jog down and try my luck. Seth Troxler is also playing though, so no doubt the venue will be rammed with ketamine-snorting haircut wankers.

Vath for sure. It seems as if he knows how to construct a set better than Cox. Like there definitely seems to be logical progression in his tunes that makes sense. I've seen Cox 3 times, first time was part of Moby's Area 2 festival in like 2001 I think and that's when when he was using 3 turntables. I was blown away by that set for sure. Then the last two times just seemed like generic tech house. I've also listened to some recorded live sets as well, and they just weren't doing it for me.

So yeah, Vath. He doesn't play generic go nowhere tech-house and seems less repetitive for sure.
