my mom is a teacher and she claims that today, kids are not disiplined...and that parents are lacking more than they did years back. Personally i believe this...all these doctors saying spanking or disciplining your child is wrong and scars them later on. Heck back in the day i got spanked with the belt or hand when i did something bad..sure as hell taught me how to do it. Now im perfectly fine. Its the parents who literaly kick the shit out of kids are the ones that end up messed in the head.

The tantrums I see kids throw at shopping malls collapsing on the ground and shouting really loud really give me the shits. They are obviously trying to attract attention, and test their limits. In fact this type of behaviour pissed me off when I was young too (like 5-7 years old) - I just always assumed that the kids must be stupid or have mental problems or something. If my parents told me I couldn't do/have something and gave me a reason I just accpeted "no" as the answer. If I refused to obey they would give me a stern warning, and if that wasn't enough, I'd get a smack. These days I realise that parents just don't know how to discipline their kids anymore. They stand their and try to reason with them and the more they reason the louder the kid screams.
