I was referring to Trance as a whole; back then we never used terms like uplifting or epic.

Nuff said. End of story. The fat lady has sung. Mary had her little fuccin' lambs. I just creamed in my pants.

I don't know why people expect progression in trance while there is close to none in other genres as well. Like 10 years ago, I'm not expecting anything spectacular to happen in trance, but I'm surprised about the still huge number of uplifting tracks made nowadays. Also about the number of people following it. The number of new producers I never heard of increases week by week. |
Trance-M's taste in melodies is forgettable, no offense.

All these corny vocal trance makes my stomach turn worse than going twice on a teacup ride with my little nephew. My gawd every time I hear these cheesy vocal trance my whole body shivers with cheesiness, to the point where the hair on my head stands up and I need a packet of Gladlock bags by my side just in case I vomit. WTH happen to some of that ol' classic sounds of Paul Van Dyk Trance Energy/Essential mixes? Today's trance music makes me embarrass to be associated with it. I guess the good thing is all the posers have jumped off the Trance bandwagon and into 'Dubstep' now, still, trance today is full of commercial sounds. Yuck! Rant over. |

Yeah.
"We" implies being a part of a group, or having friends.
