I'm sure this happens a lot to you guys, but isn't it sort of a speed bump at the beginning of a conversation when you ask a buddy: "What's up?" And they respond with "Not bad" or "pretty good" because they misheard what you asked?

It's awkward every fucking time.

Yea, makes me feel like an asshole cause it seems like you weren't actually paying attention to them.

Also mis-saying a name to someone. I know the right name but I said something slightly different. That is a drunk problem though usually.

Yeah man, I had this Italian friend who's name was "Marc-Andre" (Ok he's a Montreal Italian) but for 2 years I called him "Marco" and was never corrected until he added me on Facebook and I had to figure out who the hell this "Marc-Andre" guy was.

This guy kept calling me Clint yesterday so I just went with it, even when he introduced me to others I was like "uh huh, yea Clint".

I was friends in high school with a guy named Clint.

We called him Clintoris.

I called my friend's gf Valgina while drunk. Her name was Val. That didn't go down very well for some reason.
