I'm quite happy with the progressive selection in the DJ promo section. Steltz, Sunsurge, Yohan all bringin it!

Did you end up attending the Mint Club?

Nah. Although the set you posted is pretty good.

If anyone cares, Alex' last hour got much better. Readhead was quite fun but not the best i've seen him either. Left around 10am, apparently the party only went till 11, which is surprising since there were more than enough people and Redhead is a DJ-machine that can keep banging it out forever. That's both his strength and his weakness I guess, he never ever drops the energy but doesn't really slow down if you need a break.

Yes. He just took the funny spelling because there already was a techno dj called Redhead

Posted by paulversuspaul on Nov-24-2014 16:53:

haha. that is quite cool actually. Big fan of his. Another guy that never makes it out west unfortunately.

He was in North America last month.

I also remember seeing another German techno DJ who i think was called redface, to add to the confusion. He wore a creepy red mask as his on-stage gimmick i believe.

You're thinking of Redshape.

Posted by Bierheld on Nov-26-2014 17:49:

Yep that's the guy. Can't say the moniker rings any bells here, shows how crap my memory is. This was only like half a decade ago.

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Nov-26-2014 19:04:

I saw him in London a couple of years back playing under his Palisade alias and he was shit, so I'm not surprised he hasn't stuck in the memory.

Posted by Bierheld on Nov-26-2014 19:19:

Well that's the main reason I do remember him. Pretty much everyone on the dancefloor was just waiting for him to go away as he tirelessly resumed to shower us with some of the most underwhelming music imaginable. The mask makes a lot more sense in that context, saves him the embarrassment.
