Anyway, yeah, you got to start somewhere, but when u do start, I don't think any risks more than a broken heart should be involved. Gambling like this, especially over a girl that obviously isnt interested at the moment, is too much of a risk.

Like I said, and I'll say again, if they've known each other for atleast over a year, and they were head over heels for each other, my opinion would be a little different. However, this gamble is just to risky, when there are so many more fish in the sea and so many more oppurtunities.

yea i see your point..it would be better if he had more of an idea of where the relationship is gonna go. but im also thinking he should stay because his friends are in cali and that's what he considers his home etc...i dunno im tired. im going home it's friday. have a good weekend.

Yeah I know its kind of stupid if i wanted to stay here just because of a girl I met for 3 months (i perfectly understand where all of you came with that) but think about it...just when I found a girl that I think its worth giving a shot at, I had to hear that I'd have to move. I mean why this time u know? Why not last year? I feel like I'm being played on u know...
I will take your advice and will try and talk this with my parents (dad prolly gonna kill me but hey i gota do what i gota do)...I'll be back

First of all you really have to let her know your situation (about moving and stuff) and find out exactly where you stand with her...but don't be too pushy.

If I had a dime for everytime I thought to myself "this girl is the one!" I'd be rich. There will be other girls out there and just to give up everything for a girl that have told you she just wants to be friends is kinda silly to me.

However, if you do move to Texas and never really find out what would've come of it you'll hate your dad and may one day look back with regret.

My advice, print out this entire thread along with everyone's responses and seal this in an envelope and give it to her to read so she'll know how you really feel. Let her think about it. Either way you have to let her know or else you'll never never know.
