-- Camel Audio closing shop?
Pages (2): « 1 [2]
Look at what Ableton have done lately.
They integrated Cytomik, Applied Acoustics and Max technology into their DAW.
Max is just too cerebral for most users and one thing that Live doesn't really have is a killer synth app.
Analog and Operator are ok, but not really a 'wow' selling point.
Live 10 can't be far off.
You guys haven't heard yet? Camel Audio is Deceased, just found this article. It's dated a few days ago.

I've used the free version recently, discovered it through this forum. I just now saw a pic of the paid version, I see you get a lot more control. I like the soundscapes and evolving pads, maybe the best I've ever heard, and tons of them. I even shopped for some soundsets. Oh well, can't buy it anymore, so much for that, huh.
Yes we have, that's why this thread exists.

| Originally posted by zodiac9 OK, well, but it was a lot of speculation here (buyout, ect...), nothing official, no conclusion mentioned in this thread. OK, It's official, end of thread. No more conspiracy theories. In case anyone stumbles in here thinking otherwise. |

| Originally posted by Mr.Mystery That is the message that started it all. Camel Audio is closing, yes, but it doesn't say anything of the future of Alchemy 2 that was nearly finished. I highly doubt it will just be tossed in the bin. |
