I never heard treatment can make a smaller monitors sound worse? if i get treatment wouldn't it further enhance the behringer sound quality? PMC to of course. Shit i'll get treatment alright and def keep the behringers if thats the case

Posted by Innocence Lost on Feb-25-2015 21:36:

I gotta go, i do understand technically the PMC's are better made with better sounding amps and woofers but I prefer behringer at this point so it personal preference. So lets try and keep this civilized without calling each other dumb and all that. I know you got one reply waiting for me ran but after that lets keep it back to topic k? kapeesh?

The fact that you ask this is proof you have no idea what treatment does and how it affects sound reproduction.

AND HENCE WHY I SAY STOP BUYING SHIT YOU SIMPLY DON'T UNDERSTAND, then asking all of us for advice.

If you think Behringers sound good, then please just keep them.

Just when you thought that Gearslutz had the monopoly on drama...

Sorry, no GAS here this month. I keep thinking that I should be GAS'ing over Serum, or Codex, or The Drop, or something new, but then I go to their webpages and just think, meh, I'd rather keep my money.

LOL haha, no need to shout, I do w/e the hell i want with my money and you see I did it this time without advice.

I can see it still wrecking your nerves which i def love lol. keep on shouting,

If i want to buy something for 10,000 that i don't understand how to use, i'll buy it and take a shit with than throw in the shower for all i care? you understand that Rann?

Buy a ghostproduction. It's the only way you'd spend some $ and actually produce a relevant result.

Going through a phase of wanting Diva... Monark just isn't cutting it for arpegiated sounds since it doesn't have velocity sensitivity or polyphony.

Posted by TranceElevation on Feb-26-2015 20:44:

Too heavy on the cpu, and imo it's overrated. Zebra will serve you better.

I am specifically looking for something that does not sound digital. I have enough synths that cover what Zebra can do already.

Posted by TranceElevation on Feb-26-2015 21:31:

Sorry but you're looking for a digital synth that doesn't sound digital?

Yep. The alternative is shell out thousands for a less versatile analog poly synth.

Diva is great, def one of a kind. I used it in my last Wip, you should check it out.

Was that in the Bitwig demo? The synth sounds are all good there.

I just pulled the trigger on Diva... damn GAS

Posted by djnitride on Feb-27-2015 01:41:

Yeah Diva was pretty much exactly what I was looking for as far as ambient leads go... So full of character and life, gotta love it.

Yes Sir, you made a good purchase, congrats.

I edited of course but this when I fist started using diva, here's the patch.

Local

1 Bass

MK Bass Trisaw

Very warm indeed.

Yeah so much good stuff in there.

Just finished up an ambient track I have been working for 2 weeks with a few instances of Diva... It had exactly the sounds I was trying to get in the track...

Diva is great

Diva responds really well to a better delay than the one in the plugin. Waves H-Delay for example, or Echoboy

Sounds pretty good with Replika, though I do like Diva's reverb.

Damn, that's actually one I really miss. I may have to get my hands on it again.

Actually, trudat. It's been quite entertaining watching someone buy random shit they have no need for. It's like when Martin Bashir followed Micheal Jackson on that shopping spree in that chintzey shop in Vegas, while the salesman literally rubs his hands together as MJ drops $250k on candlesticks. It's like watching a fractal. Fucking hypnotic.

I keep forgetting about that one. Psychology of the free plugin I guess.

I've been eyeing up their total bundle lately. $495 isn't that bad for a bunch of excellent plugins.

As much as I fucking hate dongles, this is the one worth it.

Posted by djnitride on Feb-27-2015 22:27:

I guess the Fabfilter total bundle is more than that too... still I think I would rather have all the Fab Filter plugins over waves stuff... Great GUI, sound and no dongles.

Posted by Innocence Lost on Feb-27-2015 22:28:

Well the 20/20's came in and tried em.

Seriously WTF were you thinking? After having Opals, Focals and PMCs you want budget shite???
Buy Barefoots or PMC IB2s *and* have an acoustician at your place if you want something better than Focals of small PMCs.
