-- After 4 knee surgeries, 2 torn rotator cuffs, a torn hip flexor

Getting injured isn't so bad. Long term leave pays you if you have good benefits and it frees up time for hobbies. I took up water colouring, oil painting and my rap career "fuck chipotle, mo money fo guacamol" .....fuck that was one weird year
lol other people are dangerous. My aunt blew out a knee when my grandfather skiied over her skies about ten years ago (not sure if that's the correct medical term, I was a teenager at the time). Her skies stopped moving, her body didn't - except that her legs were locked in place because of the bindings. It had occurred right as they came off the chair-lift at the top of the mountain, so the ski patrol just helped her right back on it, and helped support her as she jumped on one leg off of it at the bottom of the mountain. She blew out the other knee after three steps/jumps.
I'm definitely worried about other people injuring me lol - one of the reasons I hate driving, actually.
hey i admire you doing it man.
i've actually been trying to build the habit, but i'm struggling to do it because i'm so inflexible as it is, it's demotivating (but of course just proves that it needs to be done.)
i'm always on the look out for good beginner yoga stuff on youtube to get started. need to make a more concerted effort to build the habit.
If you want some good beginner stuff on YouTube check out Sean vigue fitness. He's definitely a douche bag and you'll want to punch him in the fave every once in a while and I'm 100% sure he's in the closet buuuut the shit he teaches is awesome and easy to follow along with. I still use his videos a lot
lol yeah his youtube banner is douchy as hell lol.
ya during the video he will say and do alot of things that will make you say "did he really just say that???" or " did he really just do that???" hes a loser. but hes good at what he does
yeah this guys beginner stuff is definitely more my speed. I was always trying to follow along with fit yoga chicks, but even their "easy" routines are pretty challenging. just tried a couple of this guys beginner routines and you can actually follow along and do the movements lol. recommended for any other guys in this thread interested in getting more flexible.
