Well Donnie, no one asked you to step into a business model like this. I don't think the promoter keeping all the proceeds from the door and presale tickets is a shit deal if you don't have to pay a venue rental or bar guarantee. I'm happy to hear your business model.

Times are changing and how you do parties at venues should change as well. I don't like seeing promoters get yanked around by venues that's why I was asking by you taking all the rest and I presume are putting up the money for the booking fee, ground, hotel and travel you should be collecting more.

Donnie, I'd love to hear what are you suggesting? You haven't made it clear where we should be collecting more revenue from. The owner gives a small % of the bar sales to the DJ's. He also takes care of the rider and has taken care of dinner in the past (He's a great sushi chef by the way). I have connections with artists, booking agencies, an awesome hotel, and extra sound, so I'm using "hookups" where I can so that I can keep the costs down. I'd like to add a few sponsors but haven't put enough effort into making that happen yet.
These shows are put on as a source of Trance entertainment for our friends. We are not relying on them to survive. They add a date to the calendar and open up a lot of doors by allowing us to network with the different artists, agencies, and promoters in different parts of the world.

Brian, you have my support. I'd be there in a second if I lived in Florida.

Thomas Datt - Bikkuri Lounge

I've been to Bikkuri Lounge a couple times now for Lost In Trancelation events. Indecent Noise & Christopher Lawrence were two of the ones I went to. Personally, every night that I have been there has been great. Yes, the cost of attending is $25, but that doesn't stop me from going. Like someone beforehand said, It doesn't break the bank. I would rather spend $25, and be surrounded by people like me who love Trance Music than go to Firestone, GILT, or Tier and be surrounded by a bunch of rave bros and annoying people. I will continue to go to Lost in Trancelation regardless of anything, seeing as I strongly support what they do. I do not know if I will make it to Thomas Datt yet, but If I can, I will most def be there.

Posted by Innocence Lost on May-29-2015 18:43:

I heard you're not!

Posted by Innocence Lost on May-29-2015 18:56:

Well there was a flood in my area and my car got so much water inside, when i went to space for wmc the traction on my car was very loose going i95 and it was little scary going 50 mph and higher so a long road trip will not work. I don't know much bout cars i'm sure someone can give a better explanation oh things can get fixed and working.

Bad luck.

How about Datt?

Posted by OrangestO on May-29-2015 18:59:

Datz too much information for me to care, brah.

Speaking of Datz, datt sounds good right now.

Posted by OrangestO on May-29-2015 19:00:

Look at all the tracks i posted for the last 3 weeks. Not one dj is playing them that spins here. Not even remotely close even when it comes to modern current stuff. Why would I waste my time on monotonous and impassive music.

Moron.
