I think there are too many tracks to list....can't think of anyone specific atm....

alot of the crappy/cheap uplifting tunes almost have the same style...

Dude, Grey C. Frost and Talla 2XLC actually produce together, Mr. Frost is the "Brain" of that part.

DJ Sakin has ripped off The Legacy.

Picotto - Lizard and Binary Finary - 1998

3 things

first of all .. my name is pronounced Energy too infinite

second of all.. yes they do sound the same.. the lead synth is only off by one note

thirdly.. try to restrict this forum to songs done by different producers.. obviously remixes are going to sound similar to the original songs since they are REMIXES!

Re: Tracks that sound like other tracks.. who ripped off who?!

quote:

matt darey - beautiful
tenth planet - ghosts

They're not that similar.. the only common factor I can see is the trancey riff.. but only very very slightly.

quote:

fire and ice - souvenir de chine &
signum - second wave

Definitely agree here, but thank god that Second Wave doesn't have those stupid children's voices 2:20 through it!

quote:

New Order - Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction)
Public Domain - Operation Blade
Warp Bros. vs Aquagen - Phatt Bass

These all use the same sample do they not? New Order and Public Domain are the most similar here..

quote:

Quench - Dreams
Lost Tribe - Gamemaster

I haven't heard of Quench so I'm not sure if I'm asking a stupid question, but could you also add Miss Shiva - Dreams to that as well?

Cool,

It just came to me, these two tracks have very similar main synth melodies:

Faithless - Salva Mea / Scream
Sinead O' Connor - Troy (Push Remix)

Hmmm...

So who did rip off who?

So did those two tracks rip off Push - 'The Legacy' or the other way round?

not a entirely a rip off, as I believe CJ Bolland was actually in the studio when it was done, as it's a remix done for his birthday

Dj tiesto - Dallas 4 pm ripping off Slide - Closure (Lounge Tech Mix)

System F - Dance Valley Theme -> Bodyshock - Rain in the City -> JB - Lazy Days

I'd say it's more like Clear Blue Moon and Ayla (Veracocha Remix). The melodies are pretty much identical.
