After handing in my master's thesis on Wednesday and recovering on Thursday, this was a weekend to relax a bit. Went to this odd hipster bar with my girlfriend yesterday, where they had somehow rigged a machine to infuse the air with gin.

Staying an hour in there is supposed to be the equivalent of drinking two large gin and tonics. They also had a number of cocktails somehow related to monks (ingredients like chartreuse, buckfast, duvel, etc). I think it would have been cool if they didn't have the whole monk theme. It was just odd. Also had real human skulls you could drink out of, if so inclined.

Stayed about 45 minutes. Didn't feel like I had been drinking, but did feel somewhat dehydrated. Also was weird to have gin literally dripping off everything. It got into my respiratory system, so I spent the next few hours feeling gin drip from my nose...

God damned hipsters.

It's a pop-up thing, run by the same people who cooked that steak over lava, if you saw that video. Only running from August to January.

Sounds like one of those ideas you come up with when high on pot.

I shuddered at the dripping with gin. Ugh
