Fell in and out of love a few times. Not much good ever came out of it, it was always one-sided for me. And I just wasn't the type to mess around with the ones who liked me but that I didn't like back, no point in leading them on. There was one girl who came in my life 6 years ago who I partied with. Strangely enough, I didn't start falling for her or thinking about her too much until after she had left, and started to realize a few of the signs she had given me when we had hung out that I had initially missed. But that was because I was in a darker point in my life and only wanted to have fun then.
Anyway, some people talk about how powerful an emotion love is and how you can use it to empower yourself and your life. In my personal experience I've never had much use for it, all it ever did was confuse and distract me instead of giving me strength. And I don't see much point in it now. If I need strength, anger and hate works just fine for me. And with things finally starting to go good for me this year, I'm leery of opening myself up to another girl, and having her bring me all her problems. Don't need that right now.
