John Creamer & Stephane K - I Love You
Deep Funk Project - Blackphunk
Jeff Wayne - War Of The Worlds (Hybrid Mix)
Hybrid - Snyper
Sasha - Baja
Blank & Jones - Desire
Usually you want something with no baseline @ the beginning or something really neat in the beat
I would suggest
Aquanuts - deep blue see (original mix)
Foggy - come into my dream (reverse reverse.. kicks in crazy synths!)
another great one.. klubbingman - welcome to the club (pulsedriver mix)
thats pure club
gl!
you can't just bang out the tunes from the start. thats what make the top guys good... build your set... no huge tunes to begin with, they (the crowd) will loose interest in you if you start to back down...
Sasha and Junkie XL- Beauty Never Fades
Sasha - Wavy Gravy (PVD Rework)

There are no rules.. your the dj keep it intresting.. do your thing.. its about creativity..
layer tracks do what you want.. just dont mess up @ the beginning it will look very bad
thanks for the input
how about starting off with something very energetic, technoish, but still mixes well into something that's a bit more trancey or progressive then move onto uplifting.
Do most people like to end with an energetic track?
I would usually end with my most powerful, energetic track, or a classsic that everyone knows.. to start off powerful is alright.. it depends on how you want to progress your set. if your comfortable with going from hard to soft melodic to progressive thats fine to start off powerful.. but if you want to work your way up.. start off with a mellow progressive track
just my 2 Cents
