I think the topic has to do with listing DJs that you like. Not offering your negative opinions on DJs that others have offered.

Would doing so make one sound pretentious?

Maybe it is a German thing, we are quite concerned with appearing modest, I think

What would you make of Sven Vath, then?

Leon Vynehall - eclectic, soulful, sample heavy, not afraid to take risks, he'll bust out old classics, he'll play techno stompers.. just absolutely love his selections.

Jon Talabot - Melodic, deep, rythmic, happy music. No one I'd rather see DJing outside on a nice summer day, his set at Piknic Electronik a few years ago was pure bliss.

Joey Anderson - Really druggy, trippy stripped back house and techno. My kind of after hours music.

found link. lol, all the comments section have people asking name of track for back to earth. Someone should tell the hipsters that they are loving a trance song just to see their heads explode. Its crazy how good that song sounds in the middle of a techno set.

Is your DL the entire 90 minutes? Mine seems to not be the complete set, as per the video version.

I give her even more props for finding and playing Vapourspace! Absolutely love that track, since hearing Oliver Lieb open with it a few years back.

I had to settle for just watching the video on youtube. Only way to get full 90 minutes.

Kinda related to the discussion around Nina Kraviz.. I was in a record store today and somehow Nina Kraviz came up. The guy from the store said she was there a couple of times and behaving the same way she does in a club when she was checking out records

Haven't seen him live but I'd love to check out Edit Select if he ever came around. Good techno with a deep hypnotic feel which would sound great on a big sound system in a dark room.

actually just caught klock last night. he wasn't on top form but it was still pretty good. he's still playing sub zero all the time, and this year i saw a few videos of him playing dj deeon freak like me, and he did play it yesterday too. one of the last tracks i picked up was splinter - unnamed instance, i just bought it the night before klock as i was stock piling my bandcamp cart. the opener also sucked major cock and to me came off has a twat. i didn't have the urge to dance like a madman like i did when hood came along last month. i guess my taste this year has been more on the older detroit style. i tried to get him to play a drexciya track but to no avail

Saw Steffi again last weekend playing. Yeah, she still shits on all the boys playing techno full time.

Also saw Hunee for the first time, I think he got mentioned here. He's this really nerdy asian guy wearing a button up shirt and glasses. Was expecting a slow, soulful set with a lot of funk/disco. But nope, after half an hour he was going wild and had ripped of his shirt and was playing shirtless, lmao. He was playing really banging house as well, around 128 at least.
