The effect of finasteride on sexual function is controversial. There are case reports of persistent diminished libido or erectile dysfunction after stopping the drug and the FDA has updated the label to inform healthcare professionals of these reports.[8][13] A 2010 review found moderate quality evidence that finasteride increased the risk of sexual dysfunction, but not that people stopped using it because of sexual side effects.[14] A 2015 meta analysis found none of the clinical trials had adequate safety reporting and did not provide sufficient information to establish the safety profile for finasteride's treatment of hairloss. The study concluded the existing clinical trials of finasteride for hair loss provide very limited information on toxicity, are of poor quality, and seem to be systematically biased toward under detection of adverse events. Moreover, the trials submitted to the FDA for approval for hair loss excluded most men who would normally be prescribed finasteride for androgenic alopecia.[15][16]

Originally posted by SYSTEM-J Side-effects may be rare, but they may also be less rare than was originally thought, and when they include "persistent erectile dysfunction after stopping the drug" you really better think carefully about how badly you want to keep your hair.

Originally posted by DJ RANN Could be less rare, but that's purely speculation. The drug has been approved since the 90's and there's literally tens of millions of users. I'm not sure I;d want to go on it but I do get (and have seen) that a guy losing his hair can really fuck with them and their esteem.

Despite the fact that clear causal links between finasteride (Propecia and Proscar) and sexual adverse events have NOT been established, the cases suggest a broader range of adverse effects than previously reported in patients taking these drugs.
This is why Asians always win. Their dicks might be small to start with, but when dudes with bigger dicks, great sex lives and money start losing their hair (which Asians tend not to as much) they can't get boners then BOOM!
Suddenly Wilford Pung-Chang with 4cm of glory owns everything you got, and bangs your wife.
Not just about the hair though. Men have turned into complete insecure pussies about all manner of things.
Funny, I've heard the opposite. I've heard that even fat, bald, middle aged bricklayers can clean up with Chinese girls if they go to live over there, with the indigenous menfolk having a reputation for being alcoholics who can't get it up when it counts. I'm sure our frontline reporter Jay can confirm/deny.
I guarantee if you woke up tomorrow morning, looked in the mirror and realised your hair way falling out you'd suddenly feel sick to the stomach.
I used to hate my hair but as soon as I started losing it we became best friends. Parting is such sweet sorrow.

Originally posted by SYSTEM-J I'm part of the receding hair crew so I know the psychological anguish of losing one's hair, but I've thought about trying the pills and read up about it and there are a lot of very angry and unhappy people online who've been fucked up by finasteride. They may be only a fraction of the overall user base, but you're still rolling the dice with that drug. I'm also incredibly wary of believing the official statistics that came from trials that have been denounced as "systematically biased".

Just man up and own it. Sure I'm receding like a motherfucker but I kept that shit I keep it short with some style and grew the fuck out of a pretty cool beard. I still look sharp.

Yeah mine is going slowly, oh welllll.
Nothing to do for it.
I've spent the past 2 years doing everything I can to prevent any type of hair loss.
In the morning, I wash my hair with a shampoo which has Gamma Linolenic acid , Alpha Linolenic acid, Linoleic Acid, Azaleic acid, Vitamin B6, Zinc, and Saw Palmetto Extract. These are potent inhibitors of 5-Alpha-Reductase, the enzyme that produces DHT, a known chemical which causes hair loss. Then I condition with a similar formula.
Once out of the shower, I let my hair air dry for approximately 2 minutes. After this, I put a copper peptide solution in my hair until it reaches the scalp. Shown to promote collagen production, using copper peptides topically on the scalp will help strengthen already existing hair, while stimulating growth in areas that are lacking thickness.
After a hearty breakfast, I take approximately 1000mg each of Vitamins B5, B7 and fish oil. Also, no alcohol for this guy. Alcohol turns testosterone to DHT. And remember, good blood flow will ensure your hair is healthy! So if you can, quit smoking!

Google the name Hilary St John Bower.
I can't be arsed to link from my phone.
He is a Brit expat that got chopped up into pieces over money and sticking his pen into too many young fountains. He was 60.
sounds wonderful
I'd rather be made into a smoothie than chopped up, but alas, tis just me.
This country is a shithole in so many ways, yet the money and woman front is attractive.
You bald losers will always have chinar to fall back on.
