that venue is a Romanian restaurant right next to my studio... don't know why anyone would produce a trance party there...

Peeps were talking about the sun lounger alias years ago and how that stuff can put you to sleep.

Why dont you post some examples of these bealieric sets cuz i never heard them.

If you are a fan of Tisto's In Search of Sunrise, then you will find some Balearic trance on there. Also, some of Armin's earlier "On the Beach" mixes for A State of Trance had plenty of Balearic as well. I don't believe there is such a thing as full on Balearics sets, since it's typically used as build up music as part of the journey. Roger Shah got into some heavy uplifting towards the latter portion of his set and was not entirely Balearic. Just listen to his Magic Island Vol. 7 if you would like an introduction.

It's funny because my sister said "what made them throw a trance party there? I ate pasta there once." LOL.

Btw, when are you throwing another vinyl sessions night, Denzo?

An oldschool vinyl event would be much better than this, and at a proper venue would be def outta hand.

What is a "proper" venue?

Personally, I could give two shits about where a trance party is hosted, even if it's in a black alley with a huge dumpster next to it. Yeah, my love for Trance runs that deep LOL.

You should check out what Suzy and Brian are doing in Orlando for "Lost in Trancelation" -- throwing monthly shows at a 150 person max capacity sushi restaurant, decking it out in a club-fashion (lights, etc.). It has built quite a strong, steady and passionate fan base overtime. I've had some of the best times of my life there because of the pure energy that the fans bring, which is all that is needed. Every friend that I've brought along has loved the experience because of this.

Yeah I see where your coming from, Suzy and Brian are doing a fantastic job for the trance scene up north.

By proper venue i mean proper sound system, DJ equipment & good enough space to dance and hang. I know the old school FLTA's had their share of no air-conditioned and poor sound that had plenty of rants in the event topics, i can't point which particular events and venues that sucked for trance

but If you want to burn and smell like crap and hear distortion and have bleeding ears so you won't be able to hear trance again is ok with you than fine. Saw vids of bikurri, it looks fine compared to some of the trash venues peeps talked about here in Miami.

Went to the Roger Shah show last weekend at Bikurri. It was a small (not nearly as small as the miami show apparently) but energetic crowd. He played some amazing tracks and even did live keyboard for Rank 1 - Airwave and his own track - Lost.

We've been down to 3 of Suzy's shows down in Orlando now from Jacksonville and we are hooked. The vibe there is second to none. Everyone is so friendly and there for the music, it's really refreshing to see events being run the right way again.

Hmm, are there gonna be any new trance shows in south florida besides this one. There hasn't been one in awhile.

Posted by LookAPokieball on Jul-21-2016 19:04:

So it looks like Luccio is bringing trance to miami after half a year hiatus which he repeats all the time. How ever this time its called the vertex, doubt it'll be anything special but I'll be there to support.
