Funny you should post this as next week I was going to post a similar thread asking for people to contact me with regard to purchasing large MP3 mix collections.
I don't have any DJ sets prior to this year (I've got all the vinyls but only got into mp3's recently) and would be prepared to pay a reasonable sum to get hold of quality edited sets.

True, but face it. Without mp3's, half of Airwave's fans wouldnt exist. In fact without mp3's, half the people who listen to trance wouldnt exist. Now that would suck.

you cant sell it, its copywrited, i mean you can but its illegal, i think copyright lasts for the artists lifetime and 50 years after his/her death, so i think ou gotta wait some time

if someone is dying for it, they need to go buy the vinyl, or at least try to find it, shit it took me over a year to find fire and ice beyond my control and twenty something - sugar rush, but i foudn it, most vinyl if you search for long enough, you will be able to definitly find it

There's no way a large mp3 collection will be worth any money. I wouldnt ever sell mp3s, I find it morally wrong, because not only am I taking money from the artist, but I'm making it as well.

Yea, Ive seen ppl on ebay selling large hard drives of mp3s and videos and thats pretty wrong. I can only see how this would ever be worth anything is if you rip the mp3s to wav and use them to dj hence saving tons of money on vinyl.
