Why are you posting here? You have said absolutely nothing that remotely resembles intelligence. As a matter of fact I'm proud that I have a monkey as a leader. In comparison to you, Bush is a demigod. I doubt that you have the managerial ability to lead a cockroach farm much less a country. By the way, I'm actually surprised at how a good 95% of the Americans responding to this thread have avoided getting pissed off at the topic and making derogetory statements. Makes me feel good for some reason.

No i wasnt being sarcastic and i didnt even mention Bush so why bring him up? Everytime a different president is elected into office, it effects the whole entire world. Maybe you don't, but people all over the world tune into the presidential elections. And whenever something goes wrong, the president gets the blame. Its natural. When you flunk a test, do you normally blame yourself, or do you blame the teacher and call him/her a monkey?

I still believe that America has a lot of things that are better than other countries, as much as the things in your country that is better than mine.

I did not make the statement saying that he was one, I only wanted to know what your thoughts were on that belief that some people have, especially due to the fact that you are in the UK.

sure, i can ignore you, but that doesnt solve the problem of your not contributing anything to the community here, because 99% of everyone here still has to be confounded.

all i want of others here is to be constructive, which americans seem to be attempting to do, while everyone else calls George Bush an idiot or a monkey or something stupid.

As most of you know I too am (very) quilty of the America bashing.
I too am one of those people that has never even been to the US before.

I might not like the way some citizens behave, how ignornat some people are, howver I do like music coming from your country, movies, books, magazines and so on.
I'm trying to say that although it may have things I don't like, it also offers a lot of things I DO like.

Besides it is the home to many many TAs that I absolutely respect and adore. People that I definitely want to meet, people I look up to and people from whom I enjoy reading their intelligent posts.

I guess all I'm trying to say is..I'm sorry if I hurt any of your feelings and for being ignorant myself and stuck up etc...

I'd love to come over, tour your country and have you prove my anti-sentiments towards the US wrong

yah me and Proxi had a PM war over this a LOONG time ago. im sure im not one of the TAs she loves, but i just wish more people could get over the fact that Bush sucks and treat the US TAers like we are just average, intelligent people....

No I don't even know you but I can infer from your comments that you would spend 99% of the time flaming them about how retarded they are being and then spend that other 1% blissfully ignoring whatever feedback they would give about your mismanagement.

And no I'm not part of that 95%. But you know what? I'm starting to feel better and better sinking to your level and just saying whatever the hell I feel like without any reasoning at all.

In retrospect mikey mike perhaps we should avoid a long drawn out flame war and return to that "95%" before things get too ugly. As much as I would love to argue, I don't have teh time to devote towards a serious argument haha.
