I think i get wat he means. He means don't diss the cheezy music b/c we get it for free w/o payin for it. Haha but that doesn't make sense either.

Posted by tranceaholic on Nov-10-2002 17:46:

Posted by trancer_guy on Nov-10-2002 18:02:

YEAH! Hell every person that listens to music out there has a stupid cheezy song they like but wont tell nebody.

Posted by trance_is_it on Nov-10-2002 18:03:

Eifel 65 is not trance, if it is I would run far away from trance, it's some sort of dance techno wanna be trance crap.
As far cheese:

DARUDE - SANDSTORM

This guy Darude is the inventor of cheese, infact he owns many cheese factories all over the world.

Posted by Billabong on Nov-10-2002 18:45:

Are you crazy? Sandstorm came out in 1999, that was one of the best year for trance, that song did not revolutionist trance or did not have any imapact on trance music today.

Posted by laz on Nov-10-2002 19:05:

here's two really cheezy tracks i d/l couple of days ago...

Rimini project - think about the way 2002
creambase 1 - take the cake

this is some really really bad music

I don't know .. I started off with trance .. didn't get into the cheese in the beginning .. couldn't stand it then .. but for some reason it's grown on me and i'm not ashamed to say that there are some cheese that i actually like although trance is still my root.. go figure

Posted by Jackson on Nov-10-2002 19:36:

So What?

This is startin to kinda Piss me off about these Forums. You guys have a go at each other if one person likes a song and another person thinks its Cheesy shite...So Wat!? All music reflect what kinda person we are and what kinda mood we're in which is why i like nearly all music types...Every person is individual...So Deal With it!
Anyone with me?

Posted by drewfactor on Nov-10-2002 19:36:

some people say iio-rapture is cheese, but I think it's really good, especially the Armin Van Buuren remix. It just got played alot at clubs, especially top 40 nights...oh well, I still like it.

Rimini Project is eurodance, not trance... LOL If people understood the difference between eurodance & trance, we wouldn't have these stupid cheese threads all the time

Looking through some of my older Cds i found the first "trance" CD i ever made. Actually, it is labelled "Techno Mix" and it was made about 2 years ago..

1. Darude - Sandstorm
2. ATB - 9pm
3. Alice Deejay - Better off Alone
4. Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation
5. New Order - Confusion
6. DJ Jean - The Launch
7. ATC - Around the World
8. Vengaboys - We Like to Party

How embarassing, oh well, guess you gotta start somewhere

new order isn't techno or trance... and this song was written when most trance producers were in diapers.

BTW the genre for this song is synthpop... the rest of the songs you listed is eurodance

Waits for someone to post Kraftwerk - Radioactivity and call it cheese
