Whoa Chillth Canadians Chillth.

Every person of ever allied country who fought in all the world wars made contributions towards winning the war. Fair Enough the British and French in world war 1, did have a lot more men fighting then Canada or the USA, and the same goes for the British and the yanks in WWII, but still 10,000 is a lot out of 1 million is a good contribution towards a war.

4 divisions of Canadian soldiers fought in WW1 and I know they had a shitty time waiting to get back to Canada, there was a riot at a place called something Park, at these barracks the Canadian troops were kept in horrible conditions, waiting months to get ships back, so they started looting and 5 ended up getting killed and 28+ seriously wounded, even sadder they didn't die on the Western front like other soldiers they died in some drenched cold camp in Wales, not killed by the enemy but their fellow countrymen things like that are shit they survived the war for fuck sake and being killed after the war on friendly soil, like me great great uncle died on the last day of World War 1 which is a right fucking shitter you know but he was killed by a German, my great grandfather survived the war in the trenches and survived action in old British colonies in the East he was lucky, many others weren't...

Remembrance day is when you not only remember the soldiers from your country who died but also those from other countries, if it weren't for them we'd all have names like Willem Von Krondenheimer or something like that.

My point exactly.
Sorry if my post seemed 'pro-Canadian' but I guess I was just trying to give examples during the rebutal.

the Germans bombed my dads Parents Sweet shoppe.
my grandma helped clean up POW camps after the war was over. She saw the most horrible of horrendous things. And to this day has never really spoken of them.
Dont anybody tell me that Canada did not play an intricate roll in winning the war. US might have ENDED the war, but they most definetly didnt win it.
