It was actually more to give my nagging wife at the time a "VIP night out" (kids fuck up social lives) and see how post accident Paul was doing lol. I was on his personal guest list but still chose bed. I got shit from 2 women that day lmao.

Personally I consider The KLF ‎� What Time Is Love? (Pure Trance 1) as first trance track, not because it has the name Trance in it, but because it was released in 1988.
