GU025 Toronto finally has arrived. yes its not 24 but 25. 24 is still set for mr. nick warren geee, i was just thinking when the hell are they gonna make a GU in toronto and now it comes up! DJ MG, im definitely hitting this up bro, for old times

5th time? Damn, I lost count... but why not?!
They still have to dissapoint me (both of them on the same night)... it's usually one of them that dissapoints (plays some funky shite and what not all night long) and then the other one makes up for it, but all in all, they're just fine with me! If they could be here every month, I really wouldn't mind that either...

Now the fact that promoters can't bring other progressive artists here, cannot afford them, cannot offer them anything interesting or simply cannot get their visas sorted out or whatever the reason is, that's none of my business...

When one of these guys played at Guv in May, I was really bored, but at the Labour of Love event I thought they were phenomenal. I'll see if I can come home that weekend to catch these guys.

I thought they were good the first time I saw them @ System. I thought they were ass at Inside/GUV! But they fucking killed me at Kool Haus at Summers End. I for one cant wait for this one...

I just wish it was inside the Kool Haus instead of GUV. The main room will be a DISASTER that night. GUV is going to be a DISASTER that night. Do they not think that Deep Dish can draw a big enough crowd to the Kool Haus? I think they can...especially now seeing how it will be a Global Underground party...

ah well...I guess Deep Dish in an overcrowded GUV is still better than no Deep Dish at all...

Hopefully theyll drop the Howells (my hero lol)/Deep Dish booty of that Eminem sampling track...

And hopefully this party wont interfere with my exams too much but if it does F it...who cares its only school lol...my goal for that night will be to make it in one of the photos in the sleevenotes of that CD lol...

Ya I can't wait to be rubbing shoulders with big sweaty muscle heads, and their Barby Doll tag alongs or the hellicopter Asian men...... I hate Guverment!! I doubt half of the people there that night will even know who Deep Dish are......


Any of you guys here about a couple new clubs opening in Toronto? Put on from the guys from Meow?? Supose to be a big superclub as well and really nice ......

I really wonder what they will WRITE in the sleevenotes...cuz in all the GU's, they talk about the club, the enthusiasm the people have, wtf can they write for Guvernment and it's crowd???

That night in February is still one of my favorite parties. Wicked set, and they alsp spun Timo Maas- "Maas Attacks" right before Spin Spin Sugar. Love that track!
I didnt think they were too hot at Labour of Love though IMO

Guv will be a huge disaster that night indeed i can see absolutely no space to move, lots of pushing around, etc. i wish they really made it in Kool Haus...

kool haus is definately the best party venue in the city...

This event totally deserves the KoolHaus... but hey, I'll be just fine with the GUV. Also, 6 hour set by my persian boys... damn!

I completely agree that the Kool Haus would be a better choice of venue, but I don't think the KH is as well known as the Guvernment. I'm pretty sure Charles would rather promote the Guvernment which is open regularly, than the KH which is only open for 'one off' events.

Regarding starting time... I have a feeling that Deep Dish will come on around 1am. Unless the Guvernment stays open past 7am on a regular Saturday, this leaves Deep Dish exactly 6hrs to work their magic
