The TA hub since I came to school end of August been doing nothing for me but I just aquired this and its doing great. Well see in a couple days how much better it is. Thank you POLAND

Bizz has put alot of time and effort into that hub, would be harsh to all pack up and bugger off to a new service; especially when alot of people complain about leechers, you'll get a hell of alot more of that joining Mediaseek.

good points man.

I will never leave the dc hub... even though i bad mouthed it above, i think the people i have met on there are Great people with great musical tastes. Something like mediaseek isnt as "social" but i just remember back to the days of ag when i would put in a song i was looking for then EVERY mix in the world was there... even ones that never hit vinyl ...

well the hub is perfect for trance but for other genres it's a bit hard..even the other apps don't work to find the latest techno..sometimes i find it on soulseek but i get queued at #1000+..

the problem with Soul Seek is you can find millions of songs, but you can't download any of them!!! so useless.

In all honesty, the DC HUB is the easiest P2P software ever created.

There is a good reason why you can never download songs off soulseek; people dont share. Sure, you can find the songs, and alot of them, but because you dont have to share, everybody leeches, and it plain sucks. The same with mediaseek, ive used it since AG went down, and it pales in comparison to the DC HUB - nobody shares because there is no incentive to.

Its like this:

direct connect (dc) is a file sharing program, instead of it connecting Everybody to one huge server...
it uses hubs which anybody can run.

so for example the EMC hub has tons of people from this message board as well as many euro boards. if u want to download dc, its www.neo-modus.com

honestly soul seek, to me, seems like a SUPER beta program, i mean you cant even copy and paste in the text boxes!

Make sure you are logged in, (just hit the mediaseek.pl button on the download window) that should log you in, then from that point you can check your queue from the d/l window.

yeah if you are lucky you can find cool stuff on mp3.com... but a lot of things i come across on there are crap.

i dont consider myself a master collector or anything, but i have probably a good 15 gigs of great trance i have accumulated from TA and links/ ag/ the hub/ where ever...
there sure seems to be a big crowd who wants it on ms cause as soon as i get on i have about 10 people wanting my tracks immediatly.

PS, im on right now, so if u need any rare stuff, maybe search and i might have it.

the thing i liked about audiogalaxy is that we could create those groups. And people could send you new songs so it makes it easier to hear new good tracks. Can mediaseek do the same thing?
