I used to like some Europop and Eurodance, then Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone came along. My taste evolved into trance. Not techno or prog shit, just trance.

I probably started into trance with PVD's Out There and Back cd. Back like two and a half years ago about I guess. But I was into stuff like the Chemical Brothers and Prodigy and lots of other electronic music for a several years before that. It started with industrial back in like 95 and then progressed from there.

well... I started out by liking commercial big beat stuff (Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Fatboy Slim, little Moby, Prodigy).

then I got into some more underground stuff (Lunatic Calm, Juno Reactor)

then I discovered Underworld and Orbital.

Underworld and Orbital aren't really 100% trance, but Underworld - Cowgirl and Orbita- Halcyon & On & On are my gateways to trance.

and trance is the best fucking thing that has ever happened to me. All those idiots listening to punk and hip hop don't know what they are missing out on.

i can remember the exact day, time and place where i got hooked.... i was in a car and, binary finary - 1998 starts playing.... whoa... i was thinkin, "wtf is this?!? its great!"... instantly hooked.

Prodigy - Breathe Was a big one for me. That is just electronic music though. As for Trance i would have to say Tracks like,DJ Scot Project - F, DJ Tiesto & Ferry Corsten(Gouryella)- Vimana, Keoki - Pass It On,and Sara Mclaughlin - Silence( DJ Tiesto Remix). Then DJ TIesto Live@Energy New Years 1999 to 2000.This was HUGE!

I had a cheesy dance mix CD in '96. A three minute version of this track was on it and it was the only thing that i really thought was cool. The track that got me into Goa trance was:

Astral Projection - Mahadeva
