It's not actually Buster that ruins the Galaxy sets, he has nothing to do with them.

listen to the liveset "Chris Liberator @ Rotation, Iowa City". Some twat with a nasal accent who can't help himself from swearing and talking nonsense throughout the set. He sounds about 14! Shame cos it's a good set.

I really hate that bastard. Good thing he doesn't talk too much throughout the set. In my rip, he says shit for about 2 mins before Marco V even starts, it sounds like Marco V just starts the record to get the dumbass to shut the hell up.

Its buster whos really the most anoying MC durring the Club Space Broadcast on Party 93.1, Not Markus Schulz, He doesnt talk much, Plus, He knows more about the music then Buster ever would since all thats on buster's mind while at Space is all the hot women and talking about getting laid and stuff and bragging on whats going on inside the club.

I personally like Pete Tong's announcing. He's always got his facts straight (an extreme rarity for MC's these days) and stays pretty much out the way during a set. The only time I've heard him mess up was when he couldn't quite figure out how to pronounce "Columbiahalle" in the PvD Columbiahalle essential mix, but hey, he doesn't speak German, he tried his best. On the other hand, some of the Radio 1 commercials can get really annoying.

I also like The Orgasmatron radio commercials during the Nu-Nrg sets. Very well Timed.

Also the guy who broadcasted the PvD - Live at Cream in Ibiza mix did pretty good job as well

For the most part tho I think the only real announcing/MCing should be done at the beginnings and the ends of sets, unless they are done by the dj, because more often than not they ruin the flow. The only cool announcing I've heard live midset was when I saw Carl Cox and he'd pick up the mic and say some cool shit that got the crowd going even more.

i agree that the best MC is the kind like in Tiesto's Magik 7 set...she doesn't say a word through the entire set!! kudos to her

personally, if i were playing a set and there was an MC, i'd cut the bastard off and then turn up the volume. i say, let them get a real job.

Club Space will not be broadcasted this saturday do to Danny Tenaglia being there, His contract doesnt allow radio stations to broadcast his live sets on the radio.

The good news.....

Party 93.1 will broadcast live at Club Spin in Miami, Which aparantly, George Acosta is the resident DJ and we'll get to hear him spin a live set from midnight til 3am or 4am.

The bad news is......Buster will be there also.

I DESPISE that guy @ Dana's Sensation Black set.He doesn't know jackshit about the tunes(apart from The Sound Of Hardbass),his timing is waaay off,and the crowd hates him.But he keeps on doing it!!!ARGH!!!Not to mention that the volume is waaay too low,so when the moron starts yelling,it overpowers the music.Grrrrr,die!!!

There are however some announcers that are very cool.That dude from Club Eau is really cool.I love him in that Marco V set from Eau that was shared here on TA.Right before Three Drives - Sunset On Ibiza (A&B Remix) takes off: "Please give some repsect,to mister Marco Veeeeeeeeeeeee..." and then BAM!Bass kicks in.Excellent timing.

I've always liked the guy from Marco's Mysteryland 01 set,too.He really cracks me up.Granted,he should've shut up during Born Slippy,but other than that,he's really cool."WHEN I SAY YEAH,YOU SAY HO!"LOL!!Also "Cos I wanna shut up!Sit back,smoke a joint..." and THEN the crowd goes nuts.Hilarious.Also,it's really cool when he starts singing/yelling during the transition between Marco Zaffrano and Ca-Lo,and during Rio - Stateform.

- Ruffian : Sensation Black, Qlimax/Q-Dance/Qlubtempo, Mysteryland (<--countless great sets trashed by him,I pay extra,so carve him up real nice!)
- Buster: Party 93.1 (<--loudmouth no-IQ gay yank)
- Italian Orgasmatron **** (<---fucks up Modello's kickass set all the time!)
- Nova : Qontact, Dutch Dimensions, Impulz2000 (<--aaarghh during the Sander K. set @ Impulz 2000 OMFG DIE DIE!!)
- MarcoV Mysteryland 2001 set mc (<--classic uberwanker mc)
- Tiesto's 020202 solo mc (<--no-good-self-echo-ing-asshole mc)

If only I had an Artic Warfare Magnum.

Tong(Radio1) and Marxman(Dancevalley) are ok and can stay alive for now.....

I actually enjoyed the MC from Tiesto @ Trance Energy 2000. He added to the build up of Vengaboys - Kiss (Airscape) and I love how he goes "Oh gosh!" in the middle of Zombie Nation - Kernkraft 400 (DJ Gius Remix). The only annoying part was at the end when he started babbling about the upcoming tour.
