I started listening to trance about 2 1/2 years ago (ish), so I would have been 16. I'm now 18, listening to even more trance & other dance music than ever, but not DJing or anything. If only . . .

when i was about 12 i used to hear some old rave tapes when round my mates houses, but i didnt really care too much about trance untill i was about 14 when i got a Jules and Seb tape off some guy.

The 2nd tape has classic tunes on it that had me hooked, such as Sash - Encore Une Fois, Camisra - Let me Show You, Storm - Storm.

15 years old, around mid to late 1998, i am now 20, around 4 and a half years

some of the first stuff i heard was robert miles and some happy hardcore
since then i was listening to old school hard trance (like ttf), uplifting, hard, melodic trance, breaks, ambient and progressive

um... hmm... started listening to general electronica stuff (i'm not sure if eurobeat is inlcluded in this but..) 8th grade, and i'm in 9th right now. yeah.. somewhere between then and now came trance.

I was 13 when i bought that cd (first trance cd), was the one that made me addicted to trance... 17 now

I used to hang out in a techno radio station back in 1990 something

I saw Yves de Ruyter first time in 1993-94

I actually have a Rave Nation III bonzai compilation from 1994

but my *openess* to all styles of music have made me come in and out of this so many times that .... well ... I ain't a trancemaster

and well raves/clubs/travelling etc .... I done my share

I dj-ed or more like played with decks from the start cause I knew people who had equipment ..... and got serious about it around 97 or so but now well I kinda dropped it but will be getting back into it

I also produced a bit in 96 or so but that didn't last long ( after a hard drive crash I kinda .... got depressed and said oh well it was a waste of time )

I'm 20 now
