The main reason they have been granted so much power is because they hoodwinked the people into thinking that activities such as spying on it's citizens are necessary tools for fighting all of those unseen evils which lurk around every corner.
This is no longer the same country that my forefathers fought for, and I'm not going to stand idly by while all of their blood, sweat and tears are lost to a time where the citizens of my country actually cared about the democracy that they were once fighting to preserve.
