I dont do drugs. I dont feel the need. (and i dont have the money) , well i have the money for pills i guess.

I know there are alot of people who do do drugs and do know alot and respect the electronica music scene, but i dont like the idea that top trance producers feel their music can only be listened to by people off their faces.

As for doing a few pills on a night out, i dont have a problem with. However when people do about 15 pills, snort ket, speed and other shit all together, i really do think you are wasting your money on seeing the DJ you have paid to see, when you wind up not knowing who or what you are.

When i was at gatecrasher SSS this year, there was a bloke there, obviously cained off his face. All he could do was walk round over and over in a circle with a radius of a metre bumping into people. And i have to say i thought to myself "What a complete wanker."

I was always lead to believe that E (mdma) was supposed to give you a rush of energy and shit. However i have alot of friends who do E and no shit.. I dance more than them on a nightout. They spend most of the night either sat down... or trying to buy more pills.

Pills must be fun, otherwise why would people do them? And just because they do them doesnt make them bad people. But there are alot of fools that take far too many drugs in a club.

Disclaimer: i dont know much about drugs as i am not a user, also this post is not to offend people and not for people to flame me because of my views.

Has anyone tried DMT??? (the shit that your brain releases seconds before you die, The going up the bright tunnel experience some people talk about is actually your brain releasing DMT) Anyway i read a few of the experiences on erowid it sounds quite intense.

I wont give my opinion regarding drugs simply because I'd probably offend alot of you kids and start a flame war. Lets just say I think drugs are incredibly lame.

personally i think people refusing to speak about drugs and their opinions can be lame...but if thats your belief thats cool.

i've cut back on weed alot...and i drink a bit...i've been searchign forlsd for so long its so hard to find...shrooming was fun but ive head acids like that 1000x

I like my pills. People that get out of hand on the whole drug thing ruin it for the rest of us. If you want to get all fucked up on GHB and K go home and pass out instead of lying around in my dance space.

Not saying that drinking isnt fun sometimes but I have to say that alcohol is the worst drug of all.

A person pissed off their face is worse than a person K holed. At least the person on K wont try to fight you and the rest of the world.

I enjoy the music a lot and got into drugs because of the scene, not because I liked drugs & seemed like the dance scene would be a good place to be fucked up.
I started smoking, then moved to "heavier" stuff by my own free will, I made friends specifically to roll with.

I love trance music, but listening to it on a pill is NOT an experience you can get any other way, that's the way the brain works.
The propaganda that the goverment gives you is that drugs fuck up your life. In my case and most ppl who do drugs I know, pills, weed, etc had helped them to improve emotionally & socially.

I will agree anyday with anybody who says alcohol is the worst drug that exists. No drug causes more deaths. No drug causes more fights. No drug has more addicts in the world. And the ironic thing: its the only legal one.

I'm no druggie...but drugs make music sound better. I don't care. NO party is more fun than when peaking on E and the dj drops that totally uplifting energetic track you've been waiting to hear...

My first exposure to trance was at my first party doing e for the first time. Now I get the pavlovian response...everytime I listen to trance I can induce that hi feeling. I wonder if I could feel that without the psychological association??

Ironic? Umm the reason why it causes more deaths, fights, and addicts is because it is legal and readily available. Your argument that its the worst drug is just pure BS. If all illegal drugs were suddenly made legal and were sold for cheap in grocery stores you think alcohol would still be the "worst drug"? I think not.

Personally,
I do not feel the need nor have the desire to do drugs. I do not have a problem with other people doing drugs, as long as they do it responsibly. However, I think you give up some self responsibility by taking drugs, so as long as you can handle it be my guest. You give up the control in your life (to some extent) for a high, and if that's your thing...then let the bass keep bumpin. However there are many cases of those that can not handle it. Unfortunately, there is a significant number of people who cannot handle drugs, and that is why we end up making them illegal. They are illegal for a reason. Justifying it any other way is illogical.

Don't push your drugs on other people, its not right. They can make the decision for themselves if they want it. Anything else is just bs.
I hate people who try pressuring people into taking drugs, they are lam0rs. Just like people who OD, they all suck, and I hope they die, or learn their lesson, and rid us of their plague.

People talk about drugs ruining the "rave" scene, well its true, at least in the US. Look at the bad name we have here!!! Gah, I just wrote a whole long paper on this crap.

All in all, the world would be better off without these substances. Drugs cause more problems than they solve.

nah, stonage makes you think and triggers paranoia and such. Getting drunk and doin mushies is good because it takes away paranoia and reduce a chance of bad trips.. but im way past that now lol, i know how to control it cos ive done em so long..

The problem with me is that nowadays, what many people call THE BEST SETS OF THE YEAR, ETC., I don't find it impressive AT ALL (THIS IS JUST A PERSONAL OPINION). I wish I knew what was wrong [with me]. I didn't like DJ Tiesto - 2002-02-02 - Live at Dutch Dimension NO WHERE NEAR AS MUCH AS the Magik series. I must be in some kind of time warp because I ONLY like VERY certain material (most of which was made between 1997 and 2000 and either isn't made, played, or isn't popular anymore (Three Drives On A Vinyl - Greece 2000, every track from Ferry Corsten - 2000-04-29 - Live at Trance Energy, and most tracks from Marco V - 2000-04-29 and 2000-09-30 sets at Trance Energy, DJ Ti�sto - Magik 4, 5, 6, Vicious Vic - Capsule (album), etc.)). I wish I knew what was wrong. I didn't like DJ Tiesto - 2002-02-02 - Live at Dutch Dimension as much as the Magik series. Is Trance like this Magik, Robert Miles, and the tracks I mentioned above even MADE anymore? What ever happened to music that was VERY melodic, like what I mentioned above? I hardly ever hear it anymore. It seems like the people who were top Trance DJs just 2.5 - 3.5 years ago are all turning to Progressive/House and other not-so-melodic music. I'm not saying that I need drugs to enjoy Trance now but, what I'm saying is that I miss what Trance WAS. Now, it seems like it's starting to become less melodic (or is it that DJs are playing less melodic tunes). It's a shame because I get bored with music that lacks in the melody department. And that's what most sets this year and some from last year are like (this started last year). Well, I'll write more later... :-(

mm i need to trip straight cause i only got to the '5 wheels, one in the center, slightly higher' phase...

smidgening is the shit tho...nothing beats the triple threat, half the normal dose of shrooms, booze, and pot...mmm thats how i rung in the new year...
