Armin Deserves to be #1 in the uplifting department. Havent really thought about the order of the other uplifting dj's. Paul and flemming have had quite a good year. Along with hardwick. I cant really comment on other top dj's in other genres of music such as progressive because i dont listen to their stuff.

Only married DJ's should be in the list!

So Paul van Duck is th number one

Posted by Endlesswave on Nov-22-2002 00:05:

Pvd, Armin, Marco V. ummmmm and John "00" is also very very good. I want to see Hardwick spin...I have his set at NEC, the ending is just superb.

Armin without a doubt

Posted by SmellsExcellent on Nov-22-2002 02:19:

in my mind James Holden, Steve Porter, Steve Lawler, or Nick Warren. Keep in mind that these are DJ'd I frequent. I havent been exposed to every one of those 100 DJ's and also my biases are based on recent experiences (except James Holden which I hope to soon remedy).

Paul Oakenfold.

*puts on HH Flame Retardant Suit*

His recent sets are a mastery of prog-house and prog-trance.

Noel Sanger, Andy Hunter, Steve Porter, Sasha also own.

Armin for sure.

Nobody else is giving more to the community than Armin

- sick remixes
- sick singles
- weekly radio show to expose new tracks
- recent 12 hour set
- chills in #armind some time

Posted by escee on Nov-22-2002 04:35:

hmmm using logic here instead of OMG ARMIN IS THE BEST! with out tiesto wouldnt the number 2 dj, which was sasha i think, become number one?

just a thought...

Posted by clubsolutely on Nov-22-2002 07:20:

Armin is # 1
ferry right after him...

Posted by shannbot on Nov-22-2002 07:29:

Hmm, no Tiesto then? I'd definitly say Ferry Corsten, PVD, or Paul Oakenfold, though Oakenfold, from what I've heard has gone quite commertial. Armin is also proving himself to be pretty damn good too.

This is a totally different subject, but who do you think the best track vocalists are? I'm thinking Jan Johnson and Maria Nayler are pretty good...

By the way, I'm new here, this is my first post, hello all..

dont be daft... this is a thread involving tiesto NOT being number one (which he isnt anyway..)

all humour is thrown out the window in these situations..

as for number one dj, IMO mr hardwick is there 4 sure closely follwed by the recently redeemed mr 2XLC

Posted by djkeenetik on Nov-22-2002 10:40:

The one and only Armin Van Buuren...I reckon he mite overtake his good buddy Tijs next year
